Hey Megan! That is such a completely hard question for me, since I pretty much love all sports equally. BUT, if I HAVE to pick one, I would say soccer. It's really fun and you get to be really good friends with your team mates.

I don't have a boyfriend, but I have tons of boy friends! Boys are so much fun to talk about sports and other non-girly stuff with. I think it's cool when you can have boys and girls as friends, and not worry so much about all that romance stuff. That's Maeve's department, anyway.

Yeah, I have that same problem sometimes. I def would not try to pick a fight with the bullies. That'll only make things way worse. I think the best thing to do is just let those comments roll right off your back. I mean, who cares if you're short? It's not like you can do anything about it! And actually, being short is kind of cool sometimes. Like how it helps me be super-speedy on the b-ball court. So stand tall and be proud of your shortness!

Once I was goalie, and the ball went straight through my legs and the opposing team got the goal! It was actually pretty funny. I hate goalie. You snowboard, right? Soccer RULES! That’s so cool that you’re a defender and a midfielder. Those are tough positions—believe me, I know.
But, I like goalie the best. Even though I’m a bit vertically challenged (a.k.a, short!), I can jump high and race back and forth between the goal posts to block shots. Sometimes, I miss and the ball swooshes by. But, I don’t hate being goalie! That stuff happens from time to time. Oh well!
And, yeah, I love snowboarding! If you know how to ski, maybe try ’boarding next time you hit the slopes. It’s hard to get the hang of it, but once you do, it ROCKS!
Losing class president was disappointing, but I’m not going to stress about it. There’s still plenty of time for me to serve the public in other ways!

Hey Avery! I'm a sporty shorty! A lot like you! I can focus when I want to and am energetic quite a bit! The Beacon Street Girls make middle school (what we call Junior high) sound easier! I'm a basketball fan and soccer's pretty cool too! I love sports, but I'm not the type who gets competetive or shows off at school. I'm really good, but I keep that to when I play at home. I'm even on a team and I don't score much (actually I'm more defensive than offensive anyways). So how's summer going for the BSG? Hope you're having a nice one. Please write back! Sporty Shorty—that’s awesome! Yeah, I have a TON of energy, and I totally let it all burst out when I’m on the field or on the court. I hear you about competitiveness and showing off. It’s okay to want to win, but being a good sport is even more important. Plus, showing off is lame. Just being yourself and playing as a team is the way to go. Summer with the BSG rocks so far! We’re just totally CHILLAXIN at our favorite summer hangouts. And wherever there’s freeze pops. YUM!
