Abigail Adams Junior High School

Abigail Adams Junior High School—scene of the Beacon Street Girls' first disastrous meeting! The school is named after President John Adams' wife Abigail Adams. She was a really cool lady who gave her husband great advice. Here's one of her famous quotes: "We have too many high-sounding words and too few actions that correspond to them." Translation: "Stop talking and get things done!"

Principal Ruby Fields runs AAJH with a firm hand and a kind word for everyone. Katani thinks it's cool that her grandmother is the principal (most of the time). The best part of Abigail Adams Junior High? The field trips, of course!

everyone who is going in to middle school:
there isn't that much of a change in middle school( or what ever you call it) the only thing that changes is your classes and you get a locker(i think) and you have a lot of homework. i'm in middle school right now(aka high school i'm a Catholic school so that means i'm still in middle school except the grades go from 8-12 and i'm going into grade nine nest year.) it might be scary at first but you will get use to it. i no this isn't much but i'll think of some other stuff. hope this helps

At my school, there is a hugh difference between elmentary, and middle school. For example, we have to start changing for PE, you get a locker, you have to rotate from class to class, and you have electives. I have to tell you though that once you get use to it, its hard to stop doing it, but it's nice because when get to take a brake between each class. Oh, 6th grade we state middle school, and we start finals, at the end of the year.

Well I move a lot and i got out of school on June 6th and I am going to the 7th grade which is real awesome cuz i cant wait to see my friends and we r gonna be the BFF's of the WHOLE 7th grade! We even have our own stairz that we stand at all together b4 classes start. And we also allow new ppl to join us at our stairz! Even though we never went to the same elementary schools. We learned a lot about each other in 6th grade and we have changed a lot to. And in Junior high everyone is special in their own way and me and my friends r even though we have different interests and hobbies we always manage to get through many obstacles together. smilies/cheesy.gif

Elementary school is so much different from Jr. High. I just finished up my 7th grade year. 7th through 12th grades are mixed into one building in my school. So from 6th to 7th grade a lot changed. People change too. I had a close friend in 6th grade but on the first day of 7th grade she sort of dumped me and started hanging out with a snobbing girl. My school is full of Queens of Mean. smilies/angry.gif
