Abigail Adams Junior High School

devotionschool1_240.jpgAbigail Adams Junior High School—scene of the Beacon Street Girls' first disastrous meeting! The school is named after President John Adams' wife Abigail Adams. She was a really cool lady who gave her husband great advice. Here's one of her famous quotes: "We have too many high-sounding words and too few actions that correspond to them." Translation: "Stop talking and get things done!"

Principal Ruby Fields runs AAJH with a firm hand and a kind word for everyone. Katani thinks it's cool that her grandmother is the principal (most of the time). The best part of Abigail Adams Junior High? The field trips, of course!

writerxbby writes:

in elementary school, its the start of beginnings, you start your friendship, your additude. you experience the real word, yea theres some ups and downs in friendship but that always makes the friendship stronger.

In middle school, yea its also scary. you change your looks, additude & maybe you have more problems with boys and friends but you always have to remember, Boys come and go, but friends that stay are the ones that glow.

Biggest Difference:Change smilies/smiley.gif

elementary school is well elementary... The teachers are WAY nicer to you and you don't really get leadership oppertunities.. In junior high there is... Dances, Lockers and sports team. Though for us recess is the same. And the teachers are more strict and you have more homework. Other than that it's pretty much the same. smilies/smiley.gif

Well..at my school in 5th grade you have 2 teachers and they kinda just set you up for middle school. Now in 6th grade we have bells (we didn't used to have them) and some teachers are strict about time. Lets just say so many things will CHANGE! smilies/wink.gif

we also have a lot more drama bcuz on fridays, girls can wear football players jersies, and its always a big deal if u have one and whos it is. plus, sometimes, u get stood up or set up with whos jersey it is and then its all a big mess. plus, no matter where u go, ppl r always talking about other ppl. one of the most important things is where u sit at lunch. if u sit in the wrong place, unless ur in with the popular ppl, it can ruin everything. u have to be on the popular pplz good side, and no matter what, never say anything bad about them to anyone, bcuz somehow, it will get back to them.
