Avery here. What IS that on my tray? A bird? A plane? Nope ... it's cafeteria food!
It seems like, for some reason, sitting together and choking down that unidentifiable food matter really gets people to bond. And, you know I'm never afraid to speak my mind—especially at lunch with the BSG. That's where we all feel free to let loose on any old subject we feel like talking about.
Today, that subject just happens to be the subject at hand, lunch! Everybody has a different opinion. MY favorite lunch is a big, juicy turkey wrap, but Charlotte actually seems to like that stuff they serve in the cafeteria. (My mom always says there's no accounting for taste!)
I have been going to the same school ever since 2nd grade. They have the same thing every week! Then sometimes the macaroni is orange! Ewwww! But I'm so happy because I'm in 6th grage and it will be my last year there! Yah!
hi, i have been going to the same school since kindergarten and i am in 6th grade right now,and in Second grade, it was at the annex and what happended was they would tell you to get in line and they would put you at a table i totally hated it so i tried to get in line with my friends so we can get to the same table but now you can sit at any table because this is the main site of the school, first Kindergarten was at the main site but it got bigger so they decided to make an annex and kindergarten through 2nd grade would be at the annex with the best playground ever, and 3rd grade up to 8th grade would be the mainsite and the playground isn't that bad i guess.
Our hot dogs bounce ( I've already been through that...I would just like to forget it) and squeak when you roll them. 1 time in Kindergarten I didn't know better and got a hot dog. I put ketchup on it one bite and I couldn't eat any more. BTW the ketchup had lumps in it and was literally liquid Thats Sad
The worst thing that my school ever sereved......ugh I don't even want to tell you. One time there was lunch with a side of nasty overcooked soggy way too much butter carrots greean beans and cauliflower and broccli Nasty huh? Hey avery4ever they have ice cream at your school! This week at school they served TERIAKI MEATBALLS!!!!!! At my school district, they make the food at the high school, then the other cafeterias REHEAT IT. But at my middle school, they also offer parfaits, Dominoes pizza, Subway, chips, ice cream, muffins, Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, muffins, Rice Crispy Treats, beef jerky, slushies and Gatorade. But it's really EXPENSIVE , so if youre broke, youre stuck with the gross junk. . The grossest things my elementary school REHEATED was this weird Mexican thing that was cooked tortilla, with this disgusting mix if vegetables cooked on it. I puked.
the worst thing my school gived us is fish sticks and a nasty deep-fried chicken breast and the foot long hot dog ( double !!!). But the only thing that they serve us that is good is stuffed crust pizza and soft bread sticks.
The worst thing I have ever eaten in a cafeteria, was in my old school when they served us shepherd's pie that tasted like stale mud with gravel, grease, oil and dry corn kernels. Also, the pizza was so bad, I only ate the crust.
The yummiest- PIZZA!!!!!! The worst- Grilled Cheese sandwiches ( OMIG!!!! They taste like cardboard dipped in rotten egg, dipped in sour cream, dipped in old milk!!!)

At my shool one time they served us pizza but, the pizza had the lunch lady's HAIR in it!!! They dont wear hairnets! How gross is that. Also, they one served us chicken, then i was walking to my table and i tripped and dropped the chicken... it Bounced!!! Our school can NOT make dishes with cheese that won't make you gag. But their popcorn chicken is delicious. My friend once found a worm in her strawberries. And she would've eaten it if she didn't play with her food all the time..
we have THE BEST cookies at our school. BTW, we have ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The grossest thing my cafeteria serves is the pizza .The cheese falls off of the pizza and the suase is filled with veggies.Every time I have to eat it I barf.
The grossest thing that my cafeteria has served would be macaroni and cheese. Last year at the lunch table somebody had some and they stuck their milk carton into it to see what it would do and it was like glue. The milk carton stuck and it wouldn't come out of the macaroni. It was nasty. The best thing they ever served would well I don't know because I have never bought lunch I only buy snacks but my school has ice cream and chips and a bunch of other good snacks.
My school lunch is terrible!!! All they ever serve is hot dogs and sloppy joes. Sloppy joes are made out of oil and grease. That's the worst thing I ever tasted.
At my school, they, (a, don't serve onion rings, and (b, serve (Blech!) shepherd's pie that STICKS to the TRAY! (they don't have plates!) They scoop rice and mashed taters with the same scoop they scoop the ice cream with! Plus the lunch lady once dyed one of her EYEBROWS SILVER! (and if you're lactose intolerant like me they give you apple juice from CHINA!!!!!)
YUCK!! My school lunch is horrible! What I hate most of it. it's the sloppy jo. And lets not forget the mistery meat. It turns out to be beef. I think. The only thing I like is the nachos. But sometimes they make me puke. Who ever in the open air that has good food, LUCKY!!!!!

The grossest thing my school has ever served is pizza. Its cold and dry and the sauce leaks out from under the cheese. The best thing they have served is cookies! They are so good they are soft and they put sprinkles on em'. So much different from the real food they serve at lunch!
the grossest thing my school has ever served is pasta tuna sandwich.it's made of pasta,ketchup,mustard,tuna,mild pepper, and tortillas.the 2nd grossest thing is chicken noodle salad.it's made of chicken,relish,hot cheese,roman noodles,greasy beefjerky,and celery,broccoli,lettuce,cauliflower,and some red peppers. they both taste like tires with too much oil on it.p.s. they aren't tires but they a little like rubber,and they don't has car oil on them but they have too much ingredients

the nastiest was grilled cheese u could pull off the bread and the cheese wasnt melted all the way! the best would be the salad... not much u could mess up with!!!!!

well us its more like a campus really but the food is all good my fave is thr california rolls at the sushi bar! we are aloud of campus but me and my friends just usually eat outside on hte "terrace" as the adults like to call it!

I'm from venezuele and in my school the best food is cocolate cake but look like green an the grossest food is the pizza smell like fish and the jam is someting like a mixture of plastic and trash. soooooo gostik jjjj
we have the worst lunch stuff! the best is bagels and the worst is brunch for lunch they are french toast sticks and one time my friend found a hair in hers! another time there was a caterpillar on my other friend's green bean i never buy lunch anymore!
This year, at middle school, our food is better than at our elementry school but it's still not the best. The hamburgers make EVERYONE sick. MY stomach felt like I had yo through up..bleh.

The best thing that my school serves is Dominoe's Pizza. It is so delicious! The worst thing that my school serves pasta w/meat sauce. It is sooooooo gross! I'd rather have anchovies on my pizza! LOL!
Will, I am in a new middle school that was bulit 4 years ago. And tHE FOOD THEY GIVE US TO DAY IS WONDERFUL. ACTUALLY,WE CAN'T GO OUT FOR LUNCH LIKE THE HIGH SCHOOL does.BUT they put in a effore to make the food taste good.
The best thing my school has ever served (as like something they make there not Goldfish or chips) is the breadsticks. When they're warm & not drenched in butter they taste really good! Otherwise everything else they serve is nasty!
the grossest thing i have ever eaten at the cafiteria is deffently burnt pizza. i mean ew! but still some food is ok. i mean the cookies are good but they don't count as a good lunch. you know what i mean.
I would have to say in second grade when i bought some chocoalte milk and it was 4 months over due. th same day i got frozen corn and green tinted macoroni and cheese.
At my school cafeteria they serve hamburgers that are sitting in a tub full of grease right before they put them on your plate. I'm a big fan of healthy eating (just like Avery!) and this grosses me out. Though the chicken sandwiches are pretty good. I bring my lunch most of the time though cause you never know what they put in the food.
the grossest thing at our school would be either the grilled cheese or the hot dogs. the grilled cheeses are prepackaged and then microwaved before serving. the hot dogs are GRAY with pink stripes! the best thing is the home made seafood gumbo. but i bring my lunch now.
The grossest food I had at the cafeteria was this wrap with this stinky cheese with plain bread trust me, it smelled like your dad's socks! My favorite food was teriaky chicken with rice, MMMMMMM!
This year I'm in middle school, and their food is way better than elementary or intermidiates scoll food. Everyday they have popcorn chicken and pizza!! Every other day they have Chickfila chicken sandwiches. And sometimes they have tacos or pasta. My favorite is Cheese Filled Pizza Sticks... or maybe the ice cream sandwiches!!!
Most People think that vegetarian food is groose but it is actually good beacuse i am a vegatarian so that is why it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!
Ucccck, where do I begin? Well, the worst stuff is definately the grilled cheese, the bread tastes like cardboard with rubbery cheese on it and they make the WORST veggies EVER and my school doesn't make their plain bagels which ROCKED and replaced them with disgusting whole wheat bagels. Ewwie!!!!
My school now doesn't have a cafetiria but my old school did. The worst was the pizza. I love pizza don't get me wrong but their pizza just didn't taste the same. The best was the cheeseburgers. They tasted delicious!!! All the other cheeseburgers in the world can't compete with them!
the worst thing is the mexican stuff. the best is the baked potato bar and the salad bar. thats about all i'll eat...usually i have to buy out of the vending machines.
some other gross food is their bagels. they should get rid of those things!!! Me and my friends find MOLD on them sometimes my stomach is upset just thinkin bout it. also the brownies has white stuff on the bottom don't even ask what it is!
my school thinks all we eat is meat all the main meal of it is usly meat if you arnt a big meat fan like me you have to settle with wilted letace are a pb and j sandwich
the lunch at mii skool is usuaaly gross. but sometimes i like it. when i dont like he food they serve i just drink mii choc. milk at just chat w/ mii friends. but on the days i do like the food i eat it and drink mii choc. milk and still i talk 2 mii friends.
Im in elementry school but in 1 yea im gonna be in middle school, but sometimes there is here in our food, talk about gross they dont even where hair nets.
I HATE the food that they severe at my school. I eat alot of Healthy things so I do not like the stuff they severe. I usally have a turkey wrap, water, apple and some times popcorn. And a Chewy bar!
