Hola chicas!

Isabel here. One of the best things about junior high is that you finally get your own locker! And it's so much more than just a place to store your stuff. At the beginning of every school year, I like to think of my empty locker as a blank canvas. Here are some easy decorating tips to make your locker look as artistically-inspired as mine:

Pick a theme. Are you into sports (like Avery), fashion (like Katani), stars (like Charlotte), or something else equally cool? Use decorations in your locker to go with your special interest! For example, I helped Charlotte cut out stars from silvery paper, and she used magnets to put them all over the inside of her locker. Instant night sky!

Put up pictures. If your school doesn't let you stick tape on your locker, you can use a corkboard with magnets on the back. (Definitely stay away from glue!) Include pictures of people, places, and maybe even pets who are special to you. Avery has the cutest pic of Marty in her locker!

Keep it tidy. No one will see your masterpiece if it's covered in clutter! I go through the pile of things in my locker once a week and throw away anything I don't need (like used gum wrappers—ewww!).

	i don't have a locker yet, but when i do, i want to decorate it with flowers and stars and soccer balls, then i will put up a hanging organizer for spare erasers and hair clips. plus, a small mirror for touch ups .

	5 thing u should have in ur locker 1.Comb extra hair bands 2.Tissue lots of tissue(speacially if u got a running nose) 3.lipgloss 4.some thing 2 cheer u up like a cute pic or a charm 5.last but not least SPACE yes some extra space 4 a emergency...u never know what u might wanna stuff in there later on!!

to keep your locker clean you can buy an extra self to put on the bottom and they come in different colors too. you can add different little things too like something that reflects who you are like family pictures friend pictures and pet pictures you can also put a mirrior to check your hair in between classes and you could buy a little magnetic things of different shapes to hold up the pictures! i am going in 7th grade so trust me these things work!! smilies/grin.gif

	Well I do not have a locker yet because I am going in to sixth grade and that is when I get a locker and I am a dancer so I am going to get a mirrior and find some pink fuzz that I can put on the side of my locker and clip assignments on it and pics of me, my maltese puppy, and my family and friends!!!

next year i'm going to have a mini garbage can in the corner of my locker and have all of my books on the bottom and my binders on the top and my other stuff at the very top. i plan of how and what i'm going to put in my locker but it sumtimes never works... oh well!

	I definitly suggest putting carpet, or something on the bottom of your locker so that your stuff doesn't get dirty. To keep the locker smelling freshyou could spray perfume in it (i've done that before), of just simply hide a freshner in it. The new freshners come in some really nice smells. If your freind asks that question, I can tell you that they will probably be suprised by the answer.

Keeping your locker clean is a whole other matter! Don't stress, but when you do open up THE LOCKER and everything falls out.......it's sorta a sign that u need some major help! Talk 2 ur BFF's for support, and during a study period or lunch, grab a pass and clean out your locker! The first trick? When you go 2 ur locker don't just throw ur homework in there! Put it in the apropriate folder and it'll save you ten minutes @ the end of the day!

I heard the teachers are more strict and they dont have lockers and you have to wear uniforms all the time! I tried convincing my mom to let me stay and to go to a regular JHS but she doesnt.
