Irving's Toy and Card Shop

Located right next to Abigail Adams Junior High, Irving's is THE Brookline destination for everything from notebooks to Swedish Fish. Mrs. Ethel Weiss runs the store and loves to chat with AAJH students. This store is full of goodies and has been around for more than 60 years.

Reasons to go to Irving’s Toy and Card Shop:

1. Mrs. Weiss stocks lots and lots of Swedish Fish.

2. You can get fake moustaches here.

3. Toys and fun stuff are always available!

The BSG always go to Mrs. Weiss for words of wisdom. When Katani felt overwhelmed by her project for the Young Entrepreneur Contest in book 12, Time's Up, Mrs. Weiss stepped in to save the day (with a little help from her friends!).

into stores like hollister or abercrombie when i dont even ask. she's got some kind of radar, like, she'll know im itching 2 go in so she just steers me inside.
she's a bargain hunter, but not CHEAP. she always finds the cutest stuff on sale , especially in abercrombie or hollister bcuz they r so expensive.but if somethings really nice, even when its a lot, she'll give it the once over, and put it on hold or buy it.
sometimes ill just b coming outof the store and she'll have a hollister or abercrombie bag i didn't even see her with b4 with somethibg she bought 4 me.
we have the best time togather. we r sooo close, we're almost bffs. i know it sounds wierd, but its true, i love my my mom!!!!!!!!!!!

i love the little bookstore near the park. i'm a regular customer there and all the people there know me and what sorts of books i like. sometimes they even give me special prospects or advertisment cds (which are normally really good).
i like shopping on my own or with only one friend best, because i'm not the person who screams at the top of their lungs all the time when they talk so i get overlooked easily. it's better on my own or with only one other friend.
