Vote! Vote! Vote! Class elections at Abigail Adams Junior High are underway, and the Beacon Street Girls are in the middle of it all! As the drama escalates, election posters begin to disappear. Katani is really worried. Could someone very close to her be responsible? "And why," asks Charlotte, "is everyone so competitive?"

That's not all. Mr. Popular, Dillon Johnson, is running too, and he's making big promises. Can he keep them? Henry Yurt, aka the Yurtmeister, has plastered smiley face posters all over the school that are too silly for words or ... maybe not.

I really enjoyed it but it was hard to understand. How could such great friends be torn apart over a dumb school election. I really didn't get it at all. Also why was Maeve keeping the secret about being in Riley's band. Didn't she trust her BFFAE's to not hide something from them? My favorite character is Maeve so I really enjoyed her parts. If I was one of the BSG'S than I would of voted for either Dillion or Henry because if I voted for Katani or Avery than the person that didn't get voted for would be mad. Anyway i was so sad when I had to give the book back to my friend. The minute I started reading it I knew I was going to love it!

I loved this book! I just can't wait to start book number six. The part that I loved best about this book was that it was a "who-dunnit" kind of book. It was great! I was disappointed at the end, though. I thought Avery was going to win elections! I'm glad that all the BSG are together again, though. It had me worried there for a second! Keep on writing great books. I'm almost done with all of them, and I don't want to see my fave book series end just like that! Thanks a bunch!

Wow this book was great.After reading the 1'st chapter I could not put it down or stop reading it.I reccomended it to alot of my friends too.They read it and love it too.Well enough about loving it.This book taught me and my friends a very important lesson.I am not going to say so much about it or people will already know what's going to happen and that's no fun.Well now mw and my friends are much better at dealing with promises that we make and can't make.Beacause of this book me and my friends have gotten into fewer fights thanks BSG,and the writer you all are the best.

I didn't win, but I think it was a good experience. I liked the end of this book because neither Avery nor Katani won and then they made up and were friends again. What did you other reader think?

wow it was great, book 5. I figured out that sometimes its hard to run against friends, it can ruin friendship. Sometimes I feel like Avery, like everything's going to be fine. But after I read this book I figured that sometimes you just have to sort things out. If you both are running it becomes a big mess. But whatever happens in the end, you can make up and maybe be like a "helper" if your friend won and you didn't. I really like promises, promises.
