Secret Crushes

Dear Journal,

We were having a Tower sleepover the other night when Maeve brought up the one subject that always makes me feel tingly all the way down to my toes: Nick Montoya—aka, my super-secret sorta crush. I know I must have turned 50 different shades of red. I mean, it can be fun to talk about Nick with the BSG, but it can also be SOOOO embarrassing! And you won’t believe what Maeve was saying. She actually thinks I should…get ready for this…ASK HIM OUT!

Of course my first reaction was no no no no NO! No way am I ready for that. And then, when I thought about it some more, my reaction was still NO. Hanging out with Nick is so much fun, and I definitely don’t want things to get weird. We always have an awesome time just kicking a soccer ball around or even working on a school project together! I’m afraid that if I bring up the whole ‘I like you’ issue, things will get messed up.

And you know what? I’m totally OK with feeling like that. I think it’s cool that Maeve would be brave enough to just walk up to her crush and ask him out, but that’s sooo not me. I just want to take it slow and see what happens naturally. For now, the only crush I want to hear about is the one between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice!

	Well you could keep it secret from Nick. But I think you should tell your friends how you really feel about Nick and that you don't want it to get awkward if he found out that you like him. thanx for the comment. Now you realize that there are people out there with no electricity what so ever. No offense but your comment about Waldorf kind of annoyed me. How come EVERYBODY thinks knitting is just for girls? Anyway some of the stuff we do is actually pretty fun (even though the boys grumble they don't really care about their image some of them are the best at it actually). Its not like we sit and knit doilies while we play bingo or something. We also made our own needles. We also do wood working like spoons, flower presses ( for our moms) and fun stuff like that. Our school is definitely not for grandmas. Yeah yeah we make fun of ourselves to (waldorfians) but i am really lucky that i go there. It is a REALLY fun school but is not at all easy. In response to "maevencharlotte" if you noticed i said "why am i doing this on secret crushes?"

Thanx.What kind of rides and roller coasters does calaway park have? Im a roller coater freak! Isnt Disneyland so cool!? Knotsberry Farm is EVEN COOLER! It has way more roller coasters! There's this one caled "Mantazuma's Revenge." It goes as fast as a cannon shot and you go forward really fast, up a loopdiloop, then there's the END OF THE TRACK and u think ur gonna fall off, but gravity makes u go backwards back sown the track u came up and then there's a different end of the track again and gravity makes u come back down, then the rides over. ITS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! Another 1 is this 1 called the "Silver Bullet." The roller Coaster track is actually orange, not silver. It has seven and a half loopdiloops!!!! I'm in 5th grade and am turning 12.
No i was not held back but are school (waldorf)
has 2 years of kindergarten. As i have said we have german, spanish and eurythmy (weird yoga/ballet/dance except really BORINNGGG) from 1st grade. The girls AND the boys learn to knit, crochet, cross stitch and other stuff. Right now we are making socks d:. Anyway i dont know which one of you i am like most. Its a slash of katani/charlotte/isabel/maeve/avery. I guess i am most like katani. I take a martial art called aikido. I KNOW!!!!(idea) Instead of avery (who does all the athletic stuff) how about Isabel takes a martial. Anyway i am a orange belt and am getting my green belt soon. I am half jewish and am half christain. I think there is to much war going on because of religion.

My crush and I have known eachother for a while and even carpool (embarassing!). Just the yesterday we were emailing and I asked if he wanted to hang out sometime. He hasn't replied yet. I am not sure but think he read the email and is ignoring it because he doesn't want a girlfriend because of a earlier incodent. But I am worried that I have either messed up our friendship, or put him in an akward possition, and it isn't like I can avoid him! 1. I'm ready to take the responsibility.
2. it will actually benefit your parents! They can always connect to you in case of an emergency.
3. Say that you know it will be another bill...but that you will be willing to help out around the house to help pay for it.
4. Say that you know that you're a little young...but maybe that they should get you not an expensive phone and it could be like training wheels...sy that if you're responsible enough, suggest to them to get you a better one when you're twelve.
5. Maybe you could even write down the pros and cons of having a phone.

	You know, I always keep my crushes secret, but then some other girl always comes along and snatches him up, and then I always get disappointed because I was to shy and my chance passed. If you have enough guts, you should just ask him out on a fun date, or maybe go on a no-pressure, group "date" that won't feel to datey.
