What Happens Next?!

Have you ever played that game where one person starts a story, then another person adds a sentence, and another person adds a sentence, and it goes on and on and on? The BSG and I LOVE to play that at Tower sleepovers, and the stories always turn out really crazy and funny!

Wanna play? I’ll start the story:

“One Saturday, the BSG were sitting in Montoya’s bakery like usual, drinking huge red mugs of hot chocolate with tons of whipped cream on top. Suddenly, the door opened, and they were totally shocked to see a space alien walk in! Maeve was so surprised she spit her mouthful of hot chocolate all over Katani. But Avery stood up and…

horseluvr84: .... said well, I don't believe that much that THIS is an alien. i think the yurtmeister is up to it again, or IS he?......

wizkid52: ..."I know, it looks so real," Isabel said."Well, maybe we should invite it to school." The rest of the BSG could see where she was going with it.
"You're right. our science teacher would LOVE to run some tests."
The alien sqeaked.
eee!And in a very robotic, and sloppy way, it said, "I-don't, um, enjoy,yes, uh, tests. I-usually, well, um FAIL! Yes, that's it. I fail-the-important-tests."
Charlotte stood up. "Well, too bad. This could be the article of the century and I'm not going to miss out on it." She and Avery took the alien by each arm and dragged it down Harvard Street, all the way to Abigail Adams, despite obvious struggles...

BSGLover123: ...but when they got to AAJH Mrs.Field says "What in the world is that?!" Avery said "It's an alien from outer space and we just wanted to see if one of the science teacher's can do some tests on him." when Avery said this the alien was struggling to get out. Avery and Charlotte tryed to hold on tight but he got free. and...

BSG girl111: ...they chased after him. after running into the library they saw him go into the science store. "Trapped!" said Maeve. "Listen all i wan tis to find my family." said the alien. "what do you mean?" avery said. " well when we got on board to our plane for our yearly earth trip to get some sun i knew something bad would happen. but not this bad. and when our plane crash landed...

Avery got up to pull of the mask but it wouldn't budge, not one inch.The BSG grabbed thier mugs and ran for it not looking back they all went safetly to the tower where they recapped what had happened. The next day the BSg were walking and saw a poster that said " Alien Spaceship Movie" (filming on Beacon Street ). Isabel exclaimed " That wasn't an alien from outer space , it was just a hungry actor!"

Then I was going to tell her that I also herd that Kevin was going to ask her out too, but she ran away!" "Omigosh Nick is really going to ask me out?" Charlotte said "Yep" said Maeve! "That is great, but lets go fine Isabel and tell her that Kevin is going to ask her out... I bet if we tell her that she will feel way better! Or at least I hope so!" Charlotte said. "Sure" said Nick "I will be waiting for you" then he turned around to leave and a piece of paper fell out of his pocket. Charlotte picked it up and said "oh Nick you dropped this!" He came back to get it when Charlotte was reading it and Charlotte said "wow Nick did you write this?" He said "oh ya I know it is really bad.." Charlotte cut him off and said "no it is really good! I did not know you wrote poems!" Well it is not something I tell everyone... I got to go call me later okay!" "Ya" said Charlotte.... So she went home and said hay dad Nick Montana asked me out oh Friday and I was wondering if I could go? He said.....

"Hello? Nick?" she asked, fidgeting with her glasses.
"Charlotte?"
"yeah, my dad said I could go"
"Cool, how about tonight? at the bakery?" he asked. Charlotte could just imagine him grinning on the other end of the phone.
"see ya soon' charlotte smiled.
"Ya bye" he hung up
"Yes!" charlotte said, as she flung open her closet door and pulled out her new purple tee, jeans and ballet flats. An hour later Charlotte was outside the Bakery, she stepped inside only to see...

amatomboy29: ... Nick standing there holding gigantic box wrapped in purple paper, Charlotte's favorite color. "Here. This is for you.", Nick muttered, blushing madly, as she handed her the present. "Oh, Nick. You really didn't have to do this. What... there's air holes on this!" she said, bewildered as she lifted the lid and saw Orangina, the cat she lost in Paris, staring up at her. "How did you... what... ORANGINA!!!! How did you do this?!". "Well, I talked to Maeve to find out the perfect gift for you. She said they'd been planning this for a long time. So... she emailed Sophie and she found Orangina and sent her to me. I wrapped him up and here we are." "Oh, Nick..." That's when he kissed her. She couldn't believe it, but she loved it. And for ten whole seconds that how it was. "Oh, Nick..."

Oh my gosh! I'm totally blushing! You guys are soooo creative. I'm not sure if I'm ready to go on a real live date with Nick, but if I do, I hope it turns out like that!

OK, for the next story you need to know a little bit about the completely awesome and exciting stuff that happened to Avery when she visited her dad in Colorado...including meeting her new (cute AND cool) friend Jason! Here's the story...

"We're back from the airport!" Avery's mom called up the stairs. Avery could feel her heart pounding. She hadn't seen Jason since she left Colorado. Would he still want to be friends? Would things be awkward? She ran down the stairs and bounced into the living room. Jason looked up from his suitcase and said...
amatomboy29: ...with a great big smile, "What's up? Did ya miss me?". "Was I supposed to?" she replied, laughing. They acted as though they had known each other forever, and Avery had never gone back to Boston. "Well", her mom said, looking fondly at Jason, "Jason's family that he had been living with had to move to Europe. So they asked Dad if he could stay with him. He said Jason would probably like it better here. He's gonna go to your school, and live in that guest room!". "OH MY GOSH! This is so incredible. So now I have 3 brothers. This is, like, so COOL!!! Wait, I gotta go IM the BSG and tell them this!". When she logged on, started a chat room. When all the BSG heard, they came rushing over. When Maeve saw Jason, she gushed...

bsgmea13: ..."Wow, Avery..." Avery recognized the tone. Maeve was in love- with Jason. Who knew?
"Someone's crushing," whispered Katani. The entire BSG knew how Maeve could get when she was in deep love.
"Is he taken?" asked Maeve, in a lovey-dovey sort of way.
"Not that I know of," said Charlotte. Avery shot her a look. She still couldn't gather her thoughts together about how she felt about Jason. She liked him, but was it as a friend...or for real?...

catlover111: ...Avery looked over at Jason, who was deep in conversation with Maeve. He looked like he was enjoying himself, and Maeve was flirting like crazy. Maeve was giggling and playing with her hair and Jason was laughing at her jokes. Avery just went and sat on the couch by herself.
After a while Avery's friends all left- except for Maeve. Jason came and sat down next to Avery. He said" Wow, your friends are great!! And get this, I'm going to the movies with Maeve tomorrow night!". Maeve came over and added " I hope you don't mind since, you know, Jason's here visiting you". Tears filled Avery's eyes and she said...

unicorngirl: ..."oh, I dont mind. I'm going to go and help with lunch, by!" Avery ran into the kitchen, and broke done into tears. Maeve entered the kitchen. When she saw Avery, a worried expression filled her face. Avery saw her, and hastily grabbed an onion and a knife, to make it seem like she was crying because of the onion. But it was too late, Maeve had seen her, and Jason was right behind her.
"Avery," Jason began...

happyluckythingylover: ...Avery pivoted around on her heel and tried to wipe her eyes. But Jason already noticed she was upset, and frowned. "Um Maeve, can we have a second?" Jason asked. Maeve nodded and stepped out. Jason shot her a grateful smile. "Ave, I'm so sorry. I really am! I mean, Maeve is just...." Jason paused awkwardly, looking for the right word. "Prettier than me. I get it, Jase. She's practically a... whatchamacallit, Covergirl? I get it." Avery finished for him. Jason just sat on the ground and blushed deep red. He looked up at Avery. "No, Avery! You don't get it! I never wanted to go out with Maeve! I said yes because she's really nice, and I don't want to hurt her feelings! I wanted to go out with you, Ave, not Maeve!" Jason finished his outburst and hid his head in his hands. He started either laughing or crying, Avery couldn't tell. Avery gently tapped him on the back. "Jason? You, um, alright?" Jason stood up. "Yeah. I'm alright. I just don't get how it's possible to make such a fool of myself!" Avery giggled and smiled. She was gonna do it! Or was she? Was Avery nervous? Finally making up her mind, Avery stood on tiptoe and gave Jason a little, teeny weeny peck on the cheek. Both of the blushed. Suddenly, Maeve walked in. "Oh...

amatomboy29: ..."Hey are you guys mad at me wuzzup?" "No... no, not mad really, it's just..." Avery stared at her shoes. "Just what? Trust me I was not listening to you guys. I heard that American Idol on t.v. Hurry up! I'm gonna miss the next song!!!" Maeve was desperate. "Okay, here's the deal. Are you sure you want to know?" Jason asked. Maeve nodded and her red curls bounced. "Look, you're really sweet and all, but I mean, we just met. We should take it slow. In the mean time, would it be okay if I go out with Avery?" Jason sounded like he had practiced that. "Well, sure, that's understandable." Maeve smiled, but there was a tiny tear on her cheek. She quickly brushed it away. "Thanks so much, Maeve.", Avery hugged her friend, something she never did. "Yeah, you're sweet!" Jason gave her a small, quick kiss on the cheek. Then he gave Avery a REAL kiss. Her first one ever. Her face glowed. But Maeve looked mad. "While, you guys stand here kissing, there are starving children somewhere!" she stomped out of the kitchen and slammed the door; apperently she was angry. "What happened? I thought she was okay with it." Jason looked concerned.
"Well I'm not. Hey, Avery, why aren't you with your BOYFRIEND?" Maeve wrote later that night after Avery had logged on "chat room bsg. "Cuz I wanna b with my buds" Avery typed. When maeve had thought this over, she typed...

teddybear916: ... "yeah, well, do u mean katani, charlotte, and isabel? b/c im sure u don't mean me. jason-stealer!" Avery read Maeve's message, shocked. "but u have dillon. he likes u." Avery's bluntness came in handy in this case. "oh puh-leeze," Maeve typed. Avery could just imagine Maeve saying this to her, her voice dripping sarcasm. "c'mon girls, please," Isabel cut in. "let it be, izzy. obviously avery doesnt care about the starving children she could have saved while kissing jason!" Katani, confused, replied, "will someone explain this to me? starving children? porquoi?" Maeve's angry rampage unleashed on poor unsuspecting Katani. "just butt out!" With that, Maeve logged off the chatroom. "hey ave, what's her deal?" Charlotte asked. Avery looked at the message, prepared to tell the whole twisted love triangle, and began to answer. "well, i got my first kiss. but maeve is caught up in it all. it started when..."

skywriter: ...Later that night, Maeve called Avery. "What?" Avery said, answering her phone angrily. "I just wanted to apologize," Maeve explained. "You're totally right. I guess I just freaked out when Jason said he didn't like me. Can we still be BFFs?" "Of course, no prob!" Avery answered. "I stick with my BSGs over any boy, any day. Period. BSG for life!"

I hope you liked the way I ended that one! All your ideas were really interesting and dramatic--but I gotta say, I hope nothing like that ever actually happens to the BSG!

Time for a new story now! Yay! Here's how it starts...

Katani burst into homeroom, out of breath. "Girls! Listen up! You are never going to believe what I just overhead Grandma Ruby saying in the hallway! She said...she said that they might be closing Abigail Adams Junior High!" All the BSG gasped. "Oh nooooo!" Maeve wailed. "Wait, I have an idea," Charlotte said. "I know we can save the school. All we have to do is...

happyluckythingylover: Convince everyone otherwise." Charlotte suggested.
"But how? It may be pretty hard to," thought Isabel out loud.
"I HAVE AN IDEA!" Avery burst out. Everyone giggled at how loudly and randomly she said that. "We should make a poster about how important Abigail Adams Junior High is!" Avery continued.
"And have everyone sign it!" Maeve suggested. Everyone nodded approvingly. Charlotte fiddled with her funky purple glasses like she did when she was thinking.
"That's a great idea, Ave! What if we had a group of people, including us, meet every so often to organize it all?" Charlotte implied.
"Oh! And we can have a sign up sheet for the group!" Isabel added.
"I like the way u guys think! We can meet at Montoya's today..." Katani said, her eyes twinkling.

This plan had to work. AAJH WOULD stay in business. It would just take a little work, and a whole lot of determination.

That afternoon at Montoya's, Avery piped right up. She said...

pandalover613: "OMG! I have a great idea!"
"Calm down Ave." Charlotte giggled. Avery was bouncing up and down in her seat with excitement.
"I can't! I have this great idea! So, listen to this. We can raise a ton of money to help save AAJH. We can do an auction thing. Everyone in school can bring 2 items to put in the auction. Then we use the gym to do the auction in. Isabel can draw posters for the auction and draw pictures to auction off, and Katani might even design some clothing and Charlotte can write books. Maeve can even video tape herself doing a movie and sell that!" Avery exclaimed.
"That's a great idea!" Maeve said, her eyes sparkling. "Finally I will be famous!"
"This isn't about getting famous, Maeve. It's about saving Abigal Adams Junior High." Isabel said.
"I know, I know." Maeve said, calming down.
The next day, the BSG presented their idea to their homeroom class. Everyone loved the idea. Everyone except for 2 people in particular. Anna and Joline. As soon as the class quieted down, Anna said...

leaofparis: "Who cares? If we let this old dump close, we can go to J** School on the other end!"
"Why would you want to go to stupid J** School?" Avery butted in.
"'Cause J** School is soo much cooler. They have three swimming pools and dances every week!"
"I'm in!" piped up a voice.
The BSG turned to see who it was.
"Great, Dillon," said Anna.
Then she walked over and planted her lips on Dillon, who said...

happyluckythingylover: "Um..." Dillon managed to say. This next move surprised EVERYONE. With Anna still standing near his desk with a hopeful look on her face, he stood up and kissed her right back. Maeve turned the color of her hair and hid her face in her arms.

"I'm out of this whole idea! Totally OUT! And Dillon, you are NOT who I thought you are!" fumed Maeve. She stomped out of the classroom and to the restroom, her red hair flying behind her. Isabel jumped up and followed her to the bathroom, and muffled sobs waited into the classroom.

"You know what Dillon? You just broke Maeve's heart. This is a disaster!" Charlotte surprisingly added.

"But... I just wanted to... Dillon began...

denimgirl07: "I just wanted to break Maeve's heart. MUAH HA HA!!!!!!" he said in a strange, robotic voice. And then Dillon's eyes turned green and his hands turned into to pinchers!
"CRAB BOY!!!" he screamed, and he chased Charlotte down the hall, try to pinch her!
"Aaaaah!" screamed Charlotte as she ran.
Then, all of the other students in the room except for the BSG, and including the teacher, turned into evil crab robots.
"This is why the school is closing!!! SO IT CAN BE A CRAB-ROBOT SCHOOL!" screamed the crab-teacher in a robot voice.
The BSG ran and ran out of the school before the evil crab robots could get them.
Huffing and puffing, Katani said, "OMG! We left Maeve and Isabel in the bathroom..."

mome123: "We have to go save them!" said Katani. She, Charlotte, and Avery dodged the mutant crab-boy robot army and headed for the bathroom. They couldn't see anything when they walked in, only green nausiating smoke. The girls started to cough. "Mae-cough-ve! Isa-cough-bel!" Avery managed. "Mua-ha-ha!" A scary robotic voice said. "Oh-no! The only thing left of them is there shoes!" Charlotte cried. Maeve's ballet flats, and Isabel's high-tops lay on the floor covered in green slime...

cookygirl202: ... and then Katani woke up. She was sweating and her heart was beating WAY fast. Oh thank god! It was just a dream... TOO FREAKY FOR WORDS! she thought. But it was only Saturday morning. But part of it was true; her grandma had told her that the school might have to close because they didn't have enough teachers and nobody would apply for a job. She was hoping that it didn't have to. AAJH ROCKED!
She logged on her mac laptop and found the BSG online.

bria6785: "SURPRISE!" Grandma Ruby, The BSG, and all her other friends shouted as she opened the door. "Hun," Mrs. Fields began. "The school isn't closing. That was just an excuse to get you here. You work so hard all the time...and you forgot it was your birthday!" Katani's eyes brimmed with tears. "You guys are the best!" She whispered, and she meant it.

I loved that story! It took a lot of crazy twists and turns, but I think that just made it even better! I can't wait to see what you guys do with this one...

When Maeve opened her locker on Thursday morning, something fluttered to the ground. She bent over to pick it up. It was a square of notebook paper folded over and over again into a tiny rectangle. As she unfolded the mysterious note, she wondered who had slipped it into her locker. For once she was the first BSG at school that day. Inside, in scrawled handwriting, the note read: "You have been selected for a special assignment. Meet in Room 203 at 7:25 am for more instructions." Maeve looked at her pink-heart-covered watch. It was already 7:23! She whirled around and ran smack into...

"Hi Maeve! What's up?" Avery asked.
"Can't talk now,Ave. I got to go to room 203." Maeve said. "Bye."
"Wait, Maeve!" Avery called after her but Maeve was gone.
Maeve ran around the buiding, searching for room 203. She walked around and around, but she couldn't find room 203. Then she heard footsteps behind her. It was Avery.
"Maeve. There is no room 203!" Avery said.
"Then how am I supposed to get there?" Maeve asked.
Suddenly, the girls saw a room they had never noticed before. Room 203.
"Ave, this is creepy." Maeve said.
"Don't be scared. I'll come with you." Avery said.
The two girls entered room 203. Then, a light shone down on a table. The girls crept towards the table and saw that on the table, there was a...

Go to Yuris and buy the greenest apple there. Eat it. These instructions are important and it is vital that you do this. "OK, that's just plain weird." Avery declared. "You can totally say that again." Maeve replied. "But I have to do it." She ran off with Avery at her heels. When she got to Yuris, she did just as the instructions said. She bought the greenest apple, and ate it. When she got to the core, there was a tiny peice of paper. It was another assignment. It read...

skywriter101: ...Good Job in completing your assignment. Your next assignment is to go to Montoya's Bakery and buy an iced hot chocolate from Nick Montoya. And ONLY Nick Montoya. Maeve looked at Avery. They both dashed out of Yuri's and went across the street to Montoya's. It had the best pastries in the world. Maeve let out a sigh of releif when she saw Nick behind the counter, putting a fresh batch of those yummy fried cookies on the counter.
"Hi, Nick." Maeve said, smiling at Nick. He smiled back.
"Can we get an iced hot chocolate?" Avery asked.
"Sure." He fixed one up and gave it to them. Maeve thanked him and looked at the piece of paper taped to the mug. She unfolded it and it read...

UMMMMM....... guys? You are all writing what Avery does next. I'm sure that's not how it goes. One person says avery does or says something, and then the next person says how the others react or something like that. Not everyone saying what Avery does next. Cause we're going nowhere. It's just a bunch of things Avery is supposedly doing all at once. Ulina has the right idea, and a couple of others. She says what happened after Katani screams Avery spit on her. So someone should say what the others do or say after Katani. Not go back to the beginning. I'm pretty sure. Sorry for ragging on you guys. I'm just kinda confused about if that's what we're supposed to be doing.

Maeve's eyes grew large than a big smile came over her face. "Well sure I'd love to, but could you do me a favor in return?" She said.
"Of course." Said the alien. Maeve got up and whispered in his ear. He pressed a button and a laser beam sucked up all the girls.
An hour later all the BSG came back into montoyas so happy from there trip around the stars. Charlotte loved it especially

"This one's for the Christmas cards!" she said. The flash of the camera scared the Alien so it went away. Avery, had saved the day.

THe BSG and Nick laughed for what seemed like hours.

So everyone ran out of MOntyana's except for Avery who was over excited and shook hands with the alien.After a few minute Katani stop running and ran back to montya's.Isabel ran after her and ask her where she was going.Katani told her she was going to see if Avery was ok. and Katani told Isebal to go back and tell Maeve and Char. that Katani is going to see if Avery was ok.When Katani got to Montoyna she saw Avery and the alien were talking. when KAtani saw this she ran toward Avery and told her to run away form this alien. but Avery told her no it's ok this alien is friendly,his name was Ruburt adn he waws just coming down here to getr some plant's because where they live they ran out of plant of a specific plant so they came down to Earth to get the plant and then go back to their planet. but when they got there they were trying to ask where they could get these plant but the people ran away and got scared but not Avery said the alien."This girl is an brave little girl."

A week later-

"WOW id you hear that I Am in the newspaper! YAHOO!!" shouted Avery."Now i am jelous! why am i not in the newspaper" said Maeve." Maeve it's just a newspaper. your going to be in the newspaper tons of time when your going to become a actress" said Katani."But..."Maeve stoped she knew that whenit becomes to Katani you don't argue with her.

started to clean the mess off Katani.But then the alien walked over to them and started to clean it off too!The BSG were so shocked espically Avery,but as she moved back she accidently knocked over Charlotte's hot chocolate that was on the counter so then Charlotte and Avery began to clean it off the counter but right at that moment Nick Montoya walked in and saw the mess on Katani and on the counter then at Katani and then at the counter and then Katani and then the counter, so he took a cloth and started to clean the mess off the counter.But for some reason he didn't seem to notice the alien and when he did he said Oh hey Al, your early and then he turned to the BSG and said girls meet Al he's from Neptune and he always comes to help when we need him. Then he turned to Al and said my sister needs some help washing the dishes come on, so then they both walked towards the door that said Employees Only leaving the BSG open mouthed. smilies/cheesy.gif
