What I'm Thankful For

I’ve only celebrated a couple of Thanksgivings, since most of my life has been spent outside the United States. So, I’m really excited for the holidays this year—not only because of delicious food (that’s definitely part of it, though!), but also because I have so much to be thankful for.

I’m grateful to have such a wonderful family, my dad and Marty, and also my second family—my best friends, Katani, Maeve, Avery, and Isabel! I’m thankful for Miss Pierce and all she does for me, my family, and the BSG.

I feel so lucky to live in my beautiful house in Brookline with the Tower and the telescope that looks out at the stars! Finally, I’m grateful for all my friends all over the world—including you!

I am so, so thankful for my family and friends. I don't know what I would do w/o them. They have given me advice, helped me throu tough times, made me laugh, cry, and evrything. I love them all sooooo much, that I dont care if i have tv, or the computer or anything. My best friend, i have no clue what i would do w/o her. She is truly the most amzing friend. We have had so many fun times. But, sad ones too. The funny part is, i only met her 4 years ago. Now we r really close, and i know i can tell her anything. That is wy i am so thankful for them!!

I am thankful for my family and friends and people who love me. I don't care what i get for christmas or anything as long as other people that are less frotinte than i am get a plce to sleep and some food if they need it i try to do things to help like at my school we have service learning and we help out around the school and i think that that is a verry nice thing to do so yea i am thankful for a lot of things but for christmas all i want to do is make someone less fortinite then me to get what they want first Hope you like it

When my Mom and Dad said that I couldn't get UGGs for Christmas, because I already have good boots, I was really upset. But then I thought how there are many kids out there that rely on the kindness of strangers through orginizations like Toys For Tots to have a Christmas, Hannukah, etc. And then there are still others that aren't involved in a program like that and won't get anything for Christmas! Then I thougt how I already have tons of things to be thankful for: friends, a nice, warm house, a great family, an adorable dog, plenty of warm clothes. I realized that UGGs were just a luxury, and I already have plenty of little extras like that. Even though I am still dissapointed about not being able to get UGGs, I feel a little better knowing that I am very lcuky already! smilies/grin.gif

That's great! And, you know what? Friends, a warm house, a great family, and so on -- those things can be treasured forever. A pair of Uggs? Katani says they could fall out of style very soon!

Hia. I am thankful for my Daddy.(and other family members.)The reason that I am more thankful for my Daddy this year than any other year is because he just got over Base of Tongue and Throat Cancer.
I am just thankful that he lived and that he can eat almost anything he wants now!!!!

I am thankful for the fact that my teacher is coming back to teach. She has been sick with breast cancer and everyone is so sad she was gone. I really wanted her here because she is really nice and a great teacher. She was going to be my english teacher, so now, in January, she is going to come back to my school to teach again. Well i am grateful for sooo many thing just a few i will name are my family. I am so grateful 4 them . i dont know what i would do if i didn't have them in mt life. Another is my friends.
