i LOVE to play b-ball! i just started last year, whil all of my friends started when they were 4...i think. i'm not as good as them, but they say i rock, for my first year.
one time my team was supposed to be running a play. when i turned around and passed the ball without looking, i realized that i had passed it to the other team. someone was supposed to be there to catch that pass. everyone on the bleachers laughed at me. i was totally mad. has anyone else had an experience like this? click on the heart if u like my story or have had an experience like this before!(just to vote)
I was at a UCLA USC bball game and since Kevin Love's (he's on UCLA- good for him! LOL!) grandfather or somebody was in like the beatles or the beach boys or something we were walking in the stadium and he was right there! I also high fived Kobe Bryant (lakers!) he is like one of my all time favorite bball players! I LOVE LAKERS!
If your a Carolina fan vote for me! I love UNC and guess what yesturday I met Tyler Hansbrough! I also saw Ty Lawson,Deon Thompson, Bobby Frasor, Roy Williams,Sean May, Wes Miller and Marc Cambell! It was so much fun! I LOVE BASKETBALL!

I love b-ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!its my fave sport!! I was excited this season cuz Rockets beat there record, but ming is out. I find this cool, Ming quit b-ball to help build schools in china. Or so I heard.(Why do girl b ball teams get only two fouls!! i foul out ev time boys get five!!!!!)

i love basketball and i am really good at it i played on a slect team last year and i think i am playing on it this year.for school this year for basketball there is an A and a B team i know i am going to be on the A team but what if the B team coach puts me on his team because the B team players are bad and he wants them to win some games for him
I honestly can't believe that there is other GIRL basketball fans besides me! There isn't any in my class. I love it (I mean the sport.) I played for only one year, but I have a tip- watch for different kinds of passes.
I love basketball too! I usually end up playing post though because I'm so tall, but I really like bringing up the ball. I'm kind of clumsy though, so usually I'm the one that will trip on someone else's shoe lace and fall on my face! LOL -Stretch12
i absolutely love, love, love basketball! i play center because i am really tall. i love how its constant action unlike soccer (my other fave sport.) i love to watch rutgers woman basketball. any1 here a rutgers fan? i try to go to a game at least 1 a season. so much fun! any1 want to be friends? i would luv to have some
i am the best b-ball player who is a girl in my class and the guys still say i stinkuck! but some of the boys are giving and saying that i should try out for FOOTBALL! there's this one dude in my class and he sits across from me and he makes me corrct his stories (we write A LOT in our class) and he calls football footy footy football in every one! hAHA! J*** is freaky! Well every boy in my grade is obsessed with b-ball and i've seen them all play and i am better than half of them and they won't let me play some boys suck but b-ball DOES NOT! trust me i am not bragging., just sayin. b-ball ROX!
i went to a lakers game once and they asked me and these other kids to go on the court at Staples Center and i have shaken hands with kobe bryant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAHOO! of cous=rse, lakers won the game! THEY ROCK!
Well my team at school rocks at basketball! For three years in a row we've won the championship and had a perfect season!I love basketball and recommend it for all girls who wants to show boys that their not the only atletes around! LETS SHOW THE BOYS GIRLS CAN DO ANYTHING!
I played basketball for the winter team last year. I quit because everyone said, "You stink at it!" and one of my old friends said, "If you're planning on playing basketball next time... DON'T. You stink!". I really thought that basketball might be a cool sport to play, but no one even gave me credit when I almost made a hoop at one of the games.
ive never played basketball before! Can u believe that? Let's just say that I'm very, VERY girly! I DO know how to play Kickball, and besides dance that's the only game i know! I'm SO weird!

I love basketball! I have been in it for 3 years and I am on a travleing team and a regular team. It is soo fun! Our first year we went 12-0! It was so exciting!

OMG! i luv b-ball its mi fav sport ive been playing 4 four & a half years. i started 2 dribble when i was 3 years old its really awsome! im stil having trouble w/a left hand layup its pretty hard but mi big bro helps me some times he plays b-ball 2. I luv b-ball its sooooooooo awsome!
Basketball is my favorite sport. It's fun, cool, and awesome, everything I am! Anyway, March Madness was awesome! I have to say. One Day I wish I can be in the N.C.A.A.
i just now started to play b ball and i love it it is so much fun but the bad thing is i didnt get to make a single basket during b ball seoson but the good thing is i might be able to get a little bit taller since my birth day is at the end of may on the 29th has any body hear herd of webkinz i am such a big fan of it i have sixs pets on there im going to try to get them all a b ball but its kind of hard because some times i have to get them the same thing wich is a lot of mony but only because i want to be fair i have a collie named maxy a monkey named camie a lil pig named baby a bulldog named pudge a white terrier named Maemae a tree frog named trinety tree frog we have a big house but its hard to live with them wel got to go bye
i can't blieve what happened in the final 4!! did you want ucla or memphis win? memphis is mean! luv the bruins!!! did north carolina or kansas win, i 4got. i wanted kansas cuz they beat usc. my mom is VERY big on bball games. seriously, she has this class on monday nights, and she was gonna miss the last game, and she literally almost cried!!! so of course, she makes me watch it 2. i like it tho.
I love basketball, and here is a sad and true story about ME.
Once upon a time, there was a very tall girl who was a great basketball player. Unfortunately, her school did not have a team. She eventually signed up at her local YMCA. She was on a team with only 7 girls and a coach. During practice, the boys teams got brand new basketballs, and the girls got old, flat ones. They got used to playing with flat balls, but when it was finally time for a game, they got to use a good ball! and they weren't used to it, so they lost. After the season was over, the girl tried to practice at recess at recess. But outside, the hoops were crooked! This is the sad tale of a girl who loved basketball, and couldn't get a good team or practice.
I play for my school on both A and B teams! I also play for the city and every year I have played, my team has been the champion!! This year when my city league was over my coach called me up and asked me if i wanted to play on the traveling team!!!! We get to go to a lot of cities for our tournaments!! It is going to be so much fun because all the girls are such goofballs. I can't wait to stay in hotels with all of them!!
I know a lot about basketball because my parents are huge fans and my brother and sister both play. I'm not very good but I still think it's fun. This weekend was all about March Madness!
Oooo I love basketball! I wouldn't say I'm amazing but I'm fast and an okay shooter. I played forward/low post because I was the second tallest on the team. I'm not a big sporty person but I've actually come to love played bball. And during lunch I'm ALWAYS the only girl playing basketball with the guys. haha - Lovin' the BSG!
a post is usually a center but it can be a forward to.they stand on the block, get low and push out the defender. then once they get the ball, they can either make a good spin move or fake the defense out then shoot.
hey! im a point guard. some tips are- -be a leader -pay attention you need to know all of the plays cuz your runnin them! -practice footwork it is so hard to be a point guard if you dont have a good studer step -practice outside shooting -dont be only speed quick but have mental quickness to -physical toughness is important(espcially if your a center) but mental toughness is so important too -basketball is P hard work and P desire and heart
