I have over 300 books!!! I LOVE to read! I'm reading the Anne of Green Gables series! I JUST finished the 3rd one today and I'm going to start the 4th one tomorrow!
colorade_cutie_17- I respect your opinion, but I do not agree with you about Sharon Creech. I do not like her novels at all! The only one I like is Granny Torelli Makes Soup. I DO agree with you about the Baby-Sitters Club graphic novels, however, and the mod Nancy Drew series. But I also love the old-fashioned ND mysteries...I am so crazy about mysteries!
I LOVE the Anne of Green Gables series! Seriously, you should try them! They're kind of old-fashioned, but soo good! I just finished the 3rd one today! I'm reading them in order!
I simply adore the Amelia Books. They're sooooo hilarious! Also, the American Girl History Mysteries rock. They take place in different time periods and are perfect for any history buff, mystery lover, or both! The Animal Ark books make an awesome read. It's about this girl named Mandy who lives with her parents at their vet clinic in England. Any animal lover will definetly enjoy it! Going on with the mystery theme, there's the ALL NEW Nancy Drew series. It's way more modern, and it's narrated from Nancy's point of veiw. Once I start one, I get hooked and don't stop until I'm done. There's also the Baby- Sitters Club series. The original books are a bit out- dated, but theres a BRAND NEW COMIC BOOK SERIES!!!!! It's great for those kind of people who have trouble getting into a book. Sharon Creech is truly incredible, and her books, such as Ruby Holler, Bloomability, and Replay are my personal favorites. Finally,( almost done) there is the Red Rock Mysteries Series. It's about these twins who recently moved to Colorado with their new family and they are good for people who like longer, more complex stories. Thanks for reading.
sporti gurl22, my other favourite books are harry potter, the twilight series, chicks with sticks, cry freedom, little women, to kill a mockingbird, the sisterhood of the traveling pants, pride and prejudice, uncle tom's hut, the princess diaries, eragon, a german crime series called "der erdbeerpflücker" (= the strawberry plucker) and the secret life of bees. there are many more, but i assure you, you don't want to hear them all. what are your favorite books?
swedishfishyfashion! you are my soul sister! I love clique!!!!!!!!!! love love love love! I am most like Massie, what about you? Same thing happened to me for twilight!
does anyone read this series besidee the beacon street girls. If do reply!! Camp Confidential, The Clique, Gallagher Girls, Main Street, and Bras and Broomsticks(hey catlover111 this is about magic not bras! )
i have so many faves i cnt name them all! lol i like the clique, and camp confidential and (...) the BSG lol. oo, has anyone read the in or out series? its pretty good. the twilight series are SOOOO good! and also the book elswhere.
Little Woman is a must-read for all people. The Camp Confidential books you must stay away from. They will make you sick. ( Especially if you are a tomboy.) Anything by Gloria Whelan is always sad, but is very well written. The book Tall Tales by Karen Day is very sad and pointless, so DO NOT read it!
Catlover111 I agree with you TOTALLY!I love books and I really gotta say "sounder is the worst book ever do not read it" does anybody read maddison finn?
I don't like books where all they ever do is go to parties or go shopping and all they ever talk about is boys, bras and periods. These kinds of books don't have any point.
Molly Moon is a cool series isn't it?? Have you read the latest one, 'Molly Moon, Micky Minus and the Mind Machine'!! It's really weird and unusual, but still funny.
I love reading!!! I have too may books to count!!! I cant name my fav cause there are so many!!! ~cassida I love the sisters Grimm you third one is good!!!
I've read a gazillion books, and I can't name a favorite 'cuz I like so many! What is up with everyone's obsession with the Twilightseries? I read the first book, but I never really could get into it! It was too dark and passionate for me, I like funny, fantasy, and books like the Clique series.
i have read hundreds of books i couldn't put down. e.g. eragon, twilight/new moon/eclipse, molly moon, pride and prejudice, oncle tom's hut, chicks with sticks and the sisterhood of the traveling pants (i like the third book of the series best). i could go on for ages, but i'll spare you! ^^ Mette
I LOVE Harry Potter!!!I've read each of the books like 15 times. There is also this really good series called the last apprentice. They're kind of scary! I like BSG books too, of course. I just like books and reading in general.
Harry Potter books are the BEST ever!!!!! I love them. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is so cool!! I've already read it 5 times!!
There are some other books i like, by an author called Helen Dunmore. The first book is called 'Ingo'. Here is a review about the book:
The sea calls to Sapphy, a call that seems to say that the sea is in her blood and the sea is where she belongs. It calls to her brother Conor, too, and it may have called her father. Is that why her father disappeared a year ago? Sapphy has lived near the sea all her life, but when she meets one of the Mer, a boy named Faro, her life is changed. She begins to understand the voice of the sea, and the pull is so strong that she finds it difficult to resist. It pulls her away from her home and family. But when the sea and the air come into conflict, Sapphy and Conor must make a choice about where they belong and where their loyalties lie.
There is another 2 books, the 2nd one is 'The Tide Knot'. Here is the review for it:
In a seaside town of sandy beaches and ocean breezes, Sapphy has never felt so far from the sea. The crowded shore at St. Pirans is nothing like the cove at Sapphy's old home, where she first found her way into the underwater world of Ingo.
But Ingo's pull is strong, and it always finds a way. Soon Sapphy and her brother, Conor, are swimming beneath the waves again, riding the currents and teasing their Mer friend Faro. As Sapphy goes deeper into Ingo, she learns to feel more at home in the sea—even as she begins to be aware of its dangers.
There's the danger of going in too deep, and breaking the delicate balance between Sapphy's life on land and her life in Ingo. There's the mysterious disappearance of Sapphy's father, an experienced sailor who should never have drowned. And then there's Ingo itself—a restless power as old as the world, as strong as the tides, and more dangerous than anything Sapphy has ever known.
There is one more book, 'The Deep, but I haven't read that yet!! It sounds awesome!
I love to read!!!!! Sometimes I read 250 page books in one night. But my new found love is the Gallagher Girl Series. It starts with I'd Tell You But Then I'd Have to Kill You and is about a girl who goes to a spy school. How cool is that?????? It is definitely on my list of must reads!
I like a lot of what I read, but I have to say there is no book that I like more than the BSG! The book seems so... real! I hope that there are more like soon!
It looks like no1 is writing on the new pages yet. Well anyways my favorite books so far are....the BSG books!!!!! very surprising, huh? lol anyways what r some other peoples fav. books?
