SparkleGal, #1: Yes I've been in a show before. #2: I have been in more then one show, but I can't list them for personal reasons. I'm sorry! #3: My first show was Alice in Wonderland; I played the role Alice-it was a lot of fun! ~broadwaybeauty P.S I'm so happy we can be friends! What was your first show? Talk to you soon!
broadwaybeauty: yay!!! so i have some questions (sry): #1: have u ever been in a show? #2: what was it called? #3: what part did u get in ur 1st show and what was it called? sry about all the questions. SparkleGal
Ballet Dancer, That is EXACTLY how I see it. When a play is over it is a chapter of your life and you will never re-live those acting moments again. I always cry for days when a play is over! (I know that comment wasn't meant for me but I wanted to say you aren't the only one!) XOXO,BooButterfly
My secret of acting is that u really have to feel what it's happening to the character, like it is happening to u, u must feel like it's real!! Hope it's useful my advice!Bye
Broadway.Spazz.08 I (and most of my BFFs) are always really sad at closing night parties. I think of it like this (makes me cry just thinking about it): Its not a show, its a chapter of my life. Anyway, blood tests make me sick (which is funny, cuz they're supposed to help you get better)!!!
GirlPowr6 I LOOVE LITTLE WOMEN!!! Its my 3rd fave book in the world!!!
Tea_House_Moon- Fiddler is OVER! I am SOOOO sad. The Closing Night Party was last night and it was really sad! Why were you at the hosptail? I hate blood test too. I had alot them when I had mono! -Broadway.Spazz.08
cookygirl202 I have the same problem. I love singing when I'm alone, and I'm great at it, but add in other kids and i croak like a frog. so, sorry I can't help, but youre not the only one!!!!
Charlottefan22 I loove the wizard of Oz!!!!! Ever since I was little, I've looved it. Belle is my dream role!
BooButterfly! I wish you luck!! You'll be fantastic!
Charlottefan22- Thank you! Will do! And guess what? I'm a tomboy, and I'm in an all girls song, and we have to act "foxy and girly and cute" (I am quoting choreagraoher)
Tea_house_moon, Oh! I forgot to tell u that about a week and a half ago my school went to this amusment park because it was the second to last day of school and me and a group of friends went to a show and the people hosting the show said they needed a volunteer to play a part in the show and I was the only one raising my hand so I got to be in the show and all of my friends were laughing and it was soooo funny!!!!! Talk to u soon!!! ~actress10105
Tea_house_moon, Ya blood tests stink. Y were u in the hospital? U dont have to answer that question if u dont want to, I understand. Is your theater camp over? Because u said that it was hard to get computer time when u had camp, so I was wondering if ur thaeter camp ended. ~actress10105
TwilightGrobanite, Well, the directors tell us to choregraph, but, it's not required of course-I think you'd have a better shot to get a part in you did, though! Talk to you soon! ~broadwaybeauty
I absolutley LOVE acting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite parts that I had were when I played Nancy in "Oliver!", and when I had the leading role,"Jo", in the play, "Little Women"
thanks i can't wait to talk theater with you too, i loooooove to try out for lead roles like Maeve
cookygirl202
i'ts probably beacuz kids are more intimidating don't worry when go for a solo just think about your bff's online or in real life. trust me it works i did it when i tried out in both of my plays and got the leads
actress10105- Aw, thanks, I hope your summer is going well too! I completely understand that your busy (believe me, computer time was hard when I was in my camp) -Tea_House_Moon PS-Ugh, I hate blood tests! They make me squirm and I freak out at even the tiniest drop of blood. The sad part is was that when i was in the hospital they made me take them 24/7!
Click the ♥ if you ♥L♥O♥V♥E♥ acting!!!!!!! The reason for this is that there are always posts from other clubs on the "Favorite Posts" list but nothing from the Drama Club! Lets have our club known!!!!! ♥♥♥♥
Does anyone know why I stink at singing when I'm around kids, but in front of an audience, I'm good? Because i stink when we try out for solos, so I don't get the part, but I know I could do good if I got it! I asked the instructor if I could sing it with my friend who has the same prob. as me, and he said "No. Its only solos right now!" WAT DO I DO?!
i am so new to all of this and while i moved from place to place my mom was able to buy me books and beacon street girls is my fav book in the world and belive me i am just like her in every way i love writing and my dad died when i was 3 so i hardly know him but i have been too so many places that i stoped counting but i dont know any langueges but spanish
Tea_house_moon, Ya that does seem difficult but u prob. got used to it while practicing. Thx! I was soooo tired last night that I fell asleep at 9:00 p.m. (which is kinda weird for me bcus I like to stay up sometimes) Also srry I havent been on in a bout 2 days or so its bcus I have a camp this week and stuff. Also yesterday I got a blood test it didnt hurt alot but it was annoying. Hope ur summmer is going well! ~actress10105
Charlottefan22- Hi and welcome!!! I'm Tea_House_Moon!!! I can't wait to talk to you about theater with you (that's so cool that you got the lead in the Wizard of Oz, and Beauty adn the Beast-both classics!) -Tea_House_Moon ps- Don't worry, you don't sound like you're bragging at all!
broadwaybeauty- Woah, you have to choreograph?? I could never do that!!! I really hope you do well and of course, have fun, at your camp!!! -Tea_house_Moon
Drama camp starts next week! The way the auditions work is that you are given 2 songs to choregraph and memorize and you have to perform both of them on stage for the directors. I'm so excited! Good luck to everyone who's currently doing drama camp! ~broadwaybeauty P.S stargirl28, I just wanted to tell you I thought it was really cool that you got to play Oliver Twist in the musical. I bet playing a boy character is a lot harder to pull off!
My school started having plays only last year (i go to a catholic school) I played the lead in both of them. (The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast) There were two other ppl playin the lead withg me but still i got it
Charlottefan22
P.s I'd be more than happy to share my secrets with everyone
p.p.s I hope I don't sound like i'm bragging cuz i don't mean to
Ballet Dancer- I totally freaked out when I didn't see the little Drama mask! me= Then I saw that it was still there, and I returned to this: Then I figured we wouldn't have an icon! me= Drama is so cool!! Why did we get bumped?? -Tea_House_MOon
Big news!! I got a second chance to be in community theatre!! I went tonight and just got the feel of it but the music director wanted me to sing for him so I did and I bombed it because I was horse. But I get to sing again for the director when he gets back from Spain (crazy I know) so I am excited!!
BooButterfly- I sorry your friend is acting so weird. People can act funny at times, and it usually ends up that something is bothering them or they are insecure about something. If she is going around saying that she is so good at something, that is a key sign that they want to feel better about themselves. It seems she might just want attention. I suggest you just talk to her and calmly ask if she is ok. I'm sure if she is a friend she won't get mad at you. Don't worry, this happens at times. I hope I helped! -Tea_House_Moon PS- If you want some back-up, never be afraid to ask your parents. They helped me a lot when my friends acted strange.
I was the lead character in Oliver Twist as the role of Oliver. I think it was a really fun play. Recently I am in a play called Bebop with Aesop. Anyways it is about his famous fables. One that you are most likely to know is The Tortise and the Hare. Well that fable is in the play. I am in that scene. I play the Hare and I love it! WHen I grow up I really want to be an actress, and I want to be in a traveling play! C ya!
DRAMA CLUB EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!!!! The new Camp Rock club bumped us off the icon list!!!! We now (whispering) *don't have an icon* (returns to speaking voice)!!!!
For the acting class thing, we might have auditions tomorrow. The oldest people are only one year older than me, so do you think I could get one of the leads (it's an ensemble cast)? Click the heart if you think I should try a bigger part (I did it last year and the small part i did really good)!
I need some advice, my friend has been acting really weird lately, she is always talking about what an AMAZING actress she is (even though she isn't that great). And get this she just went and got a fo hawk (like a mohawk except the sides of her head aren't shaved)!!!!!!! Everyone is like "that looks so good" and she is like "I know". Then she is always talking about herself like 24/7. I am really confused and I miss the old her. Do you think it is just a stage? Please help. ~~BooButterfly
actress10105- It did get kind of diff. though to do our lines though because we had to cross out all the people's name and put our names! It was confusing for awhile... Wow, 5 AM! I couldn't wake up that early! I glad you did well! -Tea_House_Moon
Tea_house_moon, Thats soooooo cool! And it sounds really fun, bcus even as much as I like to play as a diffrent character I think it would be really fun to play urselve!!! Thats sounds sooo funny about ur mom and how she was playing a part! I had a weekend swim meet and I did really well but I am pretty tired bcus I had to wake up a 5:00 A.M on Saturday and Sunday! So I should try and practice my script b4 I fall asleep!!! ~actress10105
I have been so busy lately because i have been working on two plays at the same time, Fully Commited and Much Ado About Nothing. I have been working from 10:30-6:00 Monday through Thursday.
actress10105- Aw thanks! In the play we were all...ourselves. You see, the Reduced Shakespeare company was written by these three guys and the show was meant for three people. Since there was 20 kids in the camp we split all their parts up so we all got a pretty fair part. I had to introduce the play at the very beginning! Oh, and I also found out that next year at my school they are planning a musical for us! I have no idea what it is, but I am so excited! Hope you have fun with your show! -Tea_House_Moon ps- During the show we had to have someone from the audience play Ophelia in Hamlet and they called on my MOM!!! I was mortified, but she did a good job!
BooButterfly- I'm sorry! They will probably rerun it, like, all this weekend! I missed it too (I was at Walmart and my sis was like, Uh, you know that movie is on tonight!) Glad to see ya again! -Tea_House_MOon
BSG Fan- Aw, that's sweet! I'd love to be friends! I read the Twilight series (like, everyday) Harry Potter, The Host, The Clique series...and of course Beacon Street Girls! -Tea_House_Moon
TwilightGrobanite, Thanks! Sounds like you've been in some plays too! You must be talented too! Do you want to be friends? Please write back! How old are you? I'm eleven. What kind of books do you like? (Besides Beacon Street Girls)
Hi BooButterfly! Not much is up with me. Actually, my summer is kinda slow right now. Not for long though. I'm going to camp (with theater) the week after next. How is working at Vacation Bible School? Please don't answer on this page! It kinda annoys me that people use this page to talk about books and whatev stuff (sorry people). Could you answer this in whatev club?
OMG I am going to vent here becuase tonight Camp Rock premiered and we have dish network so it came on at 7:00 and 10:00. Well we went out to eat so we didn't get home till 8:30, so my sister and I watched the Astros game (baseball). Then 10 minutes till Camp Rock came on at 10:00 our dish lost connection !!!!! So here I am sitting at my computer while everyone else is watching Camp Rock. So that is my depressing story of the CENTURY. XOXO, Boo(Hoo)Butterfly
O. K, I just finished watching Legally Blonde: The search for Elle Woods on mtv.com, and I have to admit that I think it was a pretty good episode. I'm really happy that they sang my favorite song-"Omigod You Guys". I'm also not going to spoil it for those of you who haven't watched it yet, but, there was one constestant that I thought was going to get out but didn't. So far, I have to say that Bailey and Rhiannan are my favorites. What do you guys think? ~broadwaybeauty

Hey guys! What kinds of plays were you in? At my school, we had two school plays and I got one of the lead roles in both. In the second play, I had two solos and a whole song for a duet with a boy. I had to like him in the play. I had the most lines too. That was cool! What plays have you guys been in? Jemima
BrynnWins001- Yay, I'm glad that you got the lead in the play! I've never heard of it, but it sounds pretting interesting! Thanks for the tips! -Tea_House_Moon/TwilightGrobanite
hplvr123- I'm going to the Vampire Prom Night at the Barnes and Noble by my house where I pre-ordered the book! The guy that I actually talked to at the register said that he wouldn't give me my book unless I wore a costume. LOL! Anyway, I like the cast too! I LOVED Robert Pattinson as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films. He's the only guy dreamy enough to play Edward! I would love to star in a Twilight Musical (if there was one!) -Tea_House_Moon/TwilightGrobanite

OMG!!! So today at my camp I found out that the theater is supposedly "HAUNTED"! At first I was kind of like, "Oh, it's just the older kids trying to freak us out..." but then when we were onstage a light turned on and no one was in the soundbooth!!! So the counselors went up to check it and the light wasn't turned on! So, then we were practicing a scene where we are paroding Hamlet (it's the Reduced Shakespeare company) and we could not find a sword prop. We searched ALL OVER the theater for it and we couldn't find it at all. Well, minutes later we found it in the prop box, which was the first place we looked. Do you think it's haunted, or are we thespians just kind of crazy? Does anyone else have a story? -Tea_house_Moon/TwilightGrobanite
BrynnWins001- Hi and welcome to Drama Club. I'm Tea_House_Moon (even though it says I am TwilightGrobanite, I just changed accounts some time!) I love Guys and Dolls! *Hums Luck Be A Lady Tonight* -Tea_House_Moon or TwilightGrobanite
