Does anybody know of a store that is inexpensive but still cute? As in, not $25 for a t-shirt (*cough* Hollister *cough) or $80 for a pair of jeans (*cough* abercrombie *cough!!!!) Today's FBD is all about swimsuits and swimming!
Bikini- If you want a bikini, wear one. Even if you're not super-skinny, you can still wear one, whatever people say. Some people don't like bikinis because they don't have enough coverage. For this problem, you can wear board shorts, a swim skirt, or a (surfing style) swim shirt (I don't know what the shirts are called.) A bikini is not recommended if you are going to be surfing or swimming all day! But it's fine if you're just going to sit on your towel and tan or read. (Bikini embarrassing moment- I was wearing a bikini swimming in my friend's pool, and I slid onto the swim ring so I could float around. The bikini bottoms fell down whenever I tried to slide on!!!) tankini- A tankini is a tank top with bikini bottoms. It's perfect if you want a two piece but want to cover up more. one piece- One peices are not only for old people! They're coming back in style! Just look in any fashion magazine if you don't believe me. This season's one peices are more stylish than ever. If you don't want it to look like a swim team swim suit, you might want one with a cool pattern, cut-outs on the sides, a halter, or bandeau top.
One last thing- Tanning is NOT good! UV rays from the sun damage your skin, and the damage makes your skin turn colors. If you get a lot of UV rays now, you may get moles, wrinkles, skin cancer, and more when you are older! Wear sunscreen when you are outside with SPF of at least 20 or 30. And never, ever, use a tanning bed! If you want to have healthy7, but still tan skin, try lotion with fake-tan in it. But don't put too much on or you'll turn orange!!!

now its time 4 my make up tips~ 1. apply eye shadow with fingers insted of stick. use circle motions. 2. get clinuiqe clarifying lotion to take of the make up and moisturize. hair tips~ 1. if u have thick hair and u want it curled 4 the next day put it in lots of small braids and leave it overnite. in the morning your hair is totally curled. 2. if u r growing out your bangs and they rnt long enough 2 put in ponyz put your bangz in a small braid 2 keep them out of your face. sales~ theres a HUGE sale at bath and body works were they practicly give away free stuff. theres 50% off 75% off and 5 4 $5. kohls is always having sales 2. theres really cute 4th of july clothes there. old navy has really cute shoes like flats and flipzflopz.

Anyways, I GOT OUT OF SCHOOL TODAY! The eighth grade graduation ceremony was long and a tad boring, but I didn't mind because I got to play the flute. Plus, two girls on the USED TO BE cheer team got accademic exellence awards. It was fun! Maybe I'LL get one next year! Anyways, tonight I'm going to the Cheesecake Factory with a bunch of my friends to celebrate. I know you know what I had to wear today, but here's what I'll wear tonight:

Hi and welcome 2 my fashion blog! Well, school's out (for me, anyway) and summer is almost here! So here are some style tips for those hot, hot, summer days! TOP TIP- During the winter, everybody was layering a cute cami under v-neck tops and hoodies. Even though it's too hot for the hoodie, wear the cami! You won't get too hot, and camis are sooo cute, and lots of them are embellished with lace, rhinestones, ribbons, and tons of other cool stuff! BOTTOM TIP- Short-shorts aren't allowed in schools, but they're fine for summer! Thats only if you want short ones, normal length ones or knee-lenght are cute too! Get a pair in denim or a cute plaid! (Aeropostale has really cute plaid shorts! And aero is almost always on sale! Most of the shorts are about $20)
SHOES TIP- Flip- flops are in! Any flip-flops are cute, even if they're the $2 ones from walmart! (not that I'm recommending them, but anything goes!)
HAIR STYLES- Long hair- In the summer, long hair can get all sweaty when it's not pulled up. To stay cool, put it in a ponytail or a bun and put cute clips in your hair to hold bangs back or just to look cool! Short Hair- Cute little clips work for short hair to pull your hair off of your face if it's too short to put in a ponytail. Also, try thick headbands or head wraps, they're a must have this summer.
Todays Fasion Tips... It's all about the swimsuit! 1.Two peices with long tops are totally cute. some come with skirts to put over them!
2.For two or four suits in one try rversables! If you get a reversable two peice, then you would have four suits! It looks really cute when you mix and match the two sides!
3.Have you seen the one peices with the sides of? SO CUTE!! I have one and I loooove it! They look like two peices from the back!
EVENTS: Fashion Design Contest! Tell me an outfit design and make sure to say you want to enter the Fashion Mania Fashion Design Contest! The winner will be announced on June 14th! They will get to have their design in Fashion Mania and will also be able to share three fashion tips on Fashion Mania instead of me! At the bottom of Fashion Mania on the 14th I will say the winner. Todays make uo tips... Color Cordinated! Here are colors that work together!
1. If you are going for the natural look, try light orange eye shadow, peach blush and a light pink lip color!
2. Dramatic eyes are awesome! Try bright blue eyeshadow with maybe even some sparkles and dark mascara! Then try tiping it off woth green at the edges! Shimmery lip color and some light blush would top it off!
3.If you are going out blues and purples look perfect for eyeshadow. Try bright red lip color and any type of blush, preferably light.
clothes of the day: top:layered tank tops (black one on top and red one on bottom) skirt/pants:black gochos with silver polka dots hair:clipped up in loose pony with a barrett fashion tip: black goes good with almost everything except some shades of brown so you could wear it with alot of bright colores to really make it pop but you dont wanna wear it too much i da summer cause it absorbs heat!!!

dancechick, i luv your ideas about earrings. claires does usally have very cheap ones. definetly try aero's earrings.
isaacy, claires has very simple things. go there for stud earrings only. check out their key chains and pins to decorate your bags. yesterday i wore key chains around my waist. hook them onto the belt loops.

Hey gus! I am proud to be giving you the first segmant of Fashion Mania! So my outfit today is:
Shirteachish with tan long sleeves that flare at the bottom, almost covering my hands. On the front it has a southwestern-like design with tan, dark brown, greenish, and light pink colors.
Skirt: Three layer ruffled dark brown skirt a little above my knees.
Shoes: (Not wearing any at the moment but this is what I would wear) Light brown sandals with sparkels. (There are some sparkles on my shirt)

What colors go with what skin tones? 1. If you have dark skin warm colors work perfectly! such as orange, peach, red, and even yellow!
2.If you have super pale skin pick colors that pop! All sorts of pinks look FABULOUS!. If you are going for a natural look, try a light orange, it would work perfecly for your tone, noticable, but very light!
3. Are you not pale but not that dark? The natural look looks great! Try something calm and not to flashy! If you want to pop (Wich could totally work for your tone), try blues and purples! They really pop with white shirts! Either way, natural or bright, you are the ideal skin tone! LUCKY!

Summer Style!
1.The layered look is totally fabolous! A striped spagettie top with a two quaurter length shirt under it really pops! Try layering a short top over a long sleeved shirt for the perfect skater look! Bright colors and dark colors together are awesome!
2.Colorfull shorts rule! And while we are talking about the layered look, leggings look fabulous underneath! Try jean shorts with colorful leggings with paterns like polkadots! Boy shorts are all the rage! When you go to the beach you can where them over your suit! Top it off with an oversised tee and it's total beach style! I said BEACH style! Not regular style, I mean just to wear over your swimsuit!
3.If your just spending the day at home, you still need to look cute! SHort sleeved shirts with awesome designs and some sute jeans with the right accesories would be just fine! If you're going for an even better look add the perfect hair style and some make-up and wahlah! Stripes would be perfect and jean with rinestones really pop! If you are layering, a solid over a designed is FABULOUS!

I CANT FIND THE RIGHT KIND! the only kind that i can find looks like a foot. eeww. im looking for little dangly silver ones like u said. Hi, everyone! hermione23: Well, first of all, I didn't do this on purpose. I just got a lot of use out of it when I had to wear it. And I didn't really mean "ripped up." I more meant "beat up." Again, this wasn't on purpose. Second of all, I probably wouldn't wear it much if it was all crisp and clean, but since it's broken in and "rounded" I wear it a lot. Hey ellieo45! First of all, it's cool that your religion has rules to follow. It shows that you're dedicated if you follow them! Second, I'm kinda confused. You can't wear pants? Because you said, "i cant wear pants, minis." But I'll just work with the shirt thing since that's clear to me. OK, so it's definitely not a problem that you have to color your elbows. What looks cute are three-quarter-length-sleeved tops, and since you like polos, look for three-quarter-length polos in bright colors. Also, I'm not sure if your allowed this, but here's and idea: Wear a short-sleeved top with cool cotton arm warmers that cover elbows! Sorry if this doesn't work. Oh, and you could also layer a tank-top over a three-quarter-sleeve top or long sleeve top. This gives out a fun, summery look but also follows your rules! And since it sounds like you have a great skin tone, almost anything color-wise works. Dark colors aren't the best, but since navy's your favorite (Mine too!), here's an idea: Find a bright white, red, light purple, yellow, or baby pink top (that follows your rules, of course) and wear navy accessories such as headbands, purses, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, thin cotton scarfs, belts, socks, and shoes. This looks cool! It's great that you're going for a beachy look...and I have just the way for you to look awesome at the pool, beach or lake this summer and still cover up! Get a one-piece bathing suit that you like in a nice color. Then, board shorts and one of those three-quarter sleeve surf tops are the way to go. You'll look beachy-chick and sweeet! And leather flip-flops? Neat! Go for it! Can you clear me up on the bottoms situation and then I can tell you what my suggestions are for pants/skirts/anything else?

Stretch12, Um, where have you been shopping? Because, wide-leg jeans were all the rage a while ago, and retro-wide/bellbottoms were pretty cool too. Actually, skin-tight jeans were so last year, so I don't see how you can not find any loose jeans... Personally, I do have a pair of straight-legs from AE, but they are actually pretty comfy, and they are different from skinny ones, but anyhoo, if you really are having problems, maybe you should justs try a bigger size? I have bought two sizes up in one pair to get a really loose fit, once. They're not bad.

Wow, awesome! Vacations rock. Sounds like you have great skin tone, so basically any color works on you. But colors that are TOO dark, like black and navy, make you look kind of shadowy and shady. Whites, light pinks, blues, and greens, yellows, oranges, and any other color that POPS makes you shine! As for swimsuits, it depends. If you like to cover up a bit more with a one piece, go for suits with halters, Bandeau straps, or straplesses. Plain racing suit styles are okay, but if you're trying to be stylish, ditch em! As for two pieces, do you like bikinis? If you do, don't go for ones that are TOO skimpy. They don't look that great. But bikinis in bright colors and eye-catching patterns will look great this summer. If you want to wear a two piece but you DON'T want to wear a bikini, normal styles look great, too. Halters, spaghetti straps, straplesses, Bandeau tops....whatever you feel comfortable with, go for it! Also, here's an extra tip: If you feel uncomfortable with your body at the beach, don't worry! No one really cares! But you can wear a takini, board shorts, or something like that for extra security...I do! Also, everything doesn't have to be coordinated at the beach. If your pool cover up and flip-flops don't match, so what? You'll still look great!

Stretch12, If your afraid to wear a dress than tone it down with a pair of cropped leggings and maybe a pair of flats. Also a cute way to make a dress casual is to pair it with sneaker flats. These are cute and comfertable! For skirts to keep it from being too fancy make sure it is short. For tops care a little more than just throwing on a tee. Pink something with more figure, shape and style. A last but most definatley NOT least accessorize!!! Greenowl

Hey guys! Well, no one asked...but I think I'll give out a tip anyways! Fabulous Book Of Fashion Tips Number 12 Summer Styles
It's hot...and sometimes it's easy to forget about looking stylish whilst you're trying to keep cool. Here are some easy pointers on how to look and feel awesome!
1. Colorful shorts and tanks are the bomb! Just because you're going to wear simple and easy clothing doesn't mean you can't jazz it up a bit. Throw on chunky, colorful beads, patterned flip-flops, and tangles and tangles of slim gold or silver necklaces. You can make it work! 2. During those last sweltering few weeks of school, you've got to work with dress codes. Don't let 'em getcha down! Bermuda shorts, capris, and even a comfy pair of jeans rolled up at the cuffs work. Also, grab a thin pair of those stylish tights and layer over your favorite miniskirt or pair of short shorts. ALSO, since you can't wear straplesses, spaghetti straps, or halter tops, go with t-shirts that are made out of something cool like cotton. Also, tank tops with thick straps are probably allowed. 3. Put your hair up in a high pony. This keeps it off your neck and thust decreases the amount of sweat that you'll produce. Or, if you have short hair with bangs, pull them off your forehead with a cute headband.
4. Big sunglasses are IN! Keep 'em on your forehead, or use them to shield your eyes from the sun. Either way, they totally rock! Also, remember to wear sunscreen! No one looks good with red, peeling skin!

cookygirl202- Well todays Monday but I'll answer anyway! If you wear a tank top it will look cute. If you aren't allowed to wear tank tops to school, try layering one over a tight white t shirt. Or, you could wear a cropped jacket or sweater on top. For bottoms, you might wear denim shorts but not if you wear a cropped denim jacket. If you wear a denim jacket wear patchwork plaid shorts. For shoes, if you're allowed, wear flip-flops with your toenails painted a cute color. If not, you could wear flats or any other cute shoes (NOT sneakers!) For hair & makeup- A bit of pink lip gloss and natural eye shadow will look cute without over doing it. Hair- Well I don't know what your hair is like, but here- If it's long, straighten it if your hair is normally wavy or curly. If it's normally straight, curl it, then put mousse or hairspray in. Accesories- If you're wearing just a tank or cami, a long silver necklace and a few thin silver dangle bracelets will look good! Actually that will look good with the shrug or t shirt idea too. If you're wearing flip-flops, you could wear an ankle bracelet. For earrings, maybe silver dangly earrings. ♥ denimgirl07

23alex23. if its warm and dressy you can go with a strappy bright tank (if there not allowed you can throw a light shrug/sweater on top) and a skirt (or longer khaki shorts if you dont want to be as dressy) with nice flats. your hair can be straightened, in a bun, french braid or SUPER SUPER SUPER curly. i ♥ using culers and if a curler falls out you can use a curling iron. a melon colour lipgloss and pink/orange/brown eyeshadow if you want. you will look fun but classy and if you wear shorts you can still have fun with the other kids if they go outside or something. if this isnt dressy enough, lemme no and i will help to find something dressier.
noe quick tip--if you are allowed purses, and if want one, keep a mirrior in it so you can make sure you dont have food stuck in your teeth when you are in all the pics!

23alex23, since it's a luncheon and everyone from school you know will be there u gotta look good but not too dressy. i'd do light skinny jeans with a half-sleeve top or cute hoodie and flats or tennis shoes, or if you don't like that you could wear a khaki skirt that almost reaches your knees with a cute top with a bead necklace and some cute flats or converse. -hope this helps

Hey guys! OK, greenowl and cookygirl202...you asked for my advice, so here it is! (Sorry if you don't like it, my syle tends to be a bit on the odd side...but I'll try to be practical!)
cookygirl202: Need a cute outfit? OK, since you don't have any skirts or dresses, try this instead: First of all, go for bright colors that don't clash. Turquoise and orange, yellow and blue, and purple and green are some of my favorites. Try to find a brightly colored top and layer a cool color over that. For bottoms, if you like to wear jeans, don't wear jeans that are ripped up or stained. Dark-wash and skinny are the best kind for the cute-factor. Or, since you don't have any skirts, try wearing dress pants or pants like khakhis or velvets. Your pants should probably be a more netural color, since you don't want to overdo the whole bright color thing! (Also, shorts can look cool, but not cute or dressy. If your trying to look nice, ditch the shorts!) For shoes, ballet flats are awesome for dressing an outfit up, or down. They come in all colors, too. BUT, if you don't have them, wear flip-flops or sandals. Or, if it's cold, you can even wear your winter boots! (I know it's Summer, but it's REALLY chilly where I live!) Finally, hair and accessories: Since you have a brightly colored top on and not-so-bright bottoms, you can go for chunky beads, slim gold or silver chains, pretty much anything you like! Just stay away from cheap plastic jewelry if you can; it can ruin a whole outfit! As for your hair, try putting it in two or one French braids or straighten it! OK, cookygirl, I am so sorry if you don't like this advice, but I suggest asking denimgirl07 for help if ou don't like this!
Now, moving on to green owl! greenowl: Wow, it sounds like you have a great skin and nice hair, so lots of stuff can work on you. Color-wise, whites, light pinks, greens, and blues, lilac purples, and sunflower yellows look great. But, with your tan, I'm pretty sure you can wear almost anything. And, since you want a new look, here are some tips:
1. Just because you need a new style DOESN'T mean you have to go out and buy all new stuff; you can make the things you already have work and then you can buy one or two new things if necessary! 2. Since you're medium-tall, high waisted stuff makes you look really short! Instead, go for babydoll tops that are tanks, form-fitting tees and camisouls, short shorts, Bermudas, and miniskirts and minidresses. Also, pants that are too tight can make you look short and chunky, too, so avoid them! greenowl, I am so sorry if you don't like this! I tried my best, and I hope people will turn to me for help again!
And now, for the style of the day! Shirt: A lemon yellow long sleeve shirt with a charcoal grey tank top layered over it (this looks cool!) Pants: Beat up jeans from Abercrombie Shoes: Black Puma sneakers Hair: Red headband

Loreleimua, I know what you mean! In most clothing stores I'm a medium/large and in aeropostale,I'm an xsmall in their shirts! My BFF is the same size as me, and fits in Aero jeans, but, whenever I go there their jeans are HUGE! My theory is that they make some clothes smaller then other. TTYL ~broadwaybeauty

Advicegiver, Sorry! I cant believe I forgot about red heads! My bff is one! Okay here it is! red heads: Makeup: Gold is key because the gold would pick up the bueatiful brassy colors in your hair. Use a very black mascara and very pink blush. Lip gloss should be clear with a hint of cotton candy color! Color: Pink is really your color yet if you are not into that girly tone Green, a lime green is really a nice color for you. Dont wear Orange! Although on some red heads it does look quit interesting to wear BRIGHT orange!
Today I wore My gold clahdagh ring ( thats an irish friend ship ring. A light blue cute element tee. A pair of short green shorts with plaid on them with a brown and gold leather belt. On my feet were blue sandels. I wore little brown wooden hoops on my ears!
