This year I, Avery Koh Madden, resolve to…

1. Spend more quality time with my brothers. Especially Tim, because I don’t get to see him that much when he’s away at college.

2. Get organized. I know I can be pretty messy (my mom DOES call me the “walking hurricane”), but this year I’m going to do my best to put things where they belong so I don’t have to tear my house a part when I can’t find my homework, or my cleats, or my pet snake, Walter!

3. Study better, practice harder, have more fun. These seven words are going to be my mantra (the phrase I’ll repeat to myself to get inspired). Basically, this year, I just want to be an even more excellent version of me!

1.Honor and obey my parents and those who have authority over me~no matter if they ask me to do things that I think don't make sense I shouldn't sigh or groan...etc.
2.Keep in touch with my friends~no matter if I don't get into their school try to keep in touch with them, but also don't be afraid to make new friends.
3. Get better grades~get better grades by doing my best and studying hard

6. Make 2008 my big comeback in life!!~I have been having a rough patch in life for the past 3 or 4 months and I wanna get back to my regular good soul, but make myself a even better person.
7. Remember nobodies perfect and when one door closes another opens~even when life isn't going the way I want it to remember "when one door closes another opens" and when I get in trouble even when I try my hardest not to get in trouble remember nobody's perfect and learn from my mistake.

I'm going to maintain my grades and work harder towards them. I'll try to get all assignments in WHEN they're due. I'm going to try to go to church EVERY week. To try to stand up and make a difference. At my school you are only allowed to go to the educational movies if you are an all A student. I always can go but my friend who makes a B every now and then never can. I think that if you aren't as smart or aren't doing as well in school, you should be able to go to more educational movies, since they teach you things. My new year resolution is to make a difference and change that rule so not only my friend can go but her education can improve.
