It's OK if you don't match up to your friends in everything -- we all have different talents (like Isabel's art, Maeve's acting, Avery's athletics, and Katani's fashion). Try to find something that you can excel in, that makes you stand out as the real you!!

Well, there's the Eiffel Tower, and the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre Museum, and Notre Dame Cathedral, and Montmartre... (I could just go on forever!) Paris is such a beautiful, amazing city that I couldn't pick just one!!
Charlotte! Omg your the best! Your my faveorite because I'm JUST like you! I want to write a book when I get older and i totally LOVE the stars, moons, and constellations!!!!!!! My room has glow-in-the-dark stars everywhere! oh and the Croque Monsieur is delicous! My friends (who also love the books and have a club like the BSG!!) made some one day and they were the best! Now we almost always make them when we have club meetings!

One great way to start is by keeping a journal. Write a little bit every day -- it could be about something interesting that you did, a funny thing a friend said, something new that you learned... whatever!! The more you write, the better you'll get at it!

One great place that I've heard about is the Ring of Kerry, which is a tourist trail in the southwest, where you can see all kinds of beautiful scenery, castles, ancient stone forts, and other really cool historic sites. Be sure to take lots of pictures, too!!

Here is a clip of my story: Once there was a girl named Ali She lived in 2008. There was another girl, Jill, who lived in 1928. They were ten. Jill's Christmas present was a shirt made out of cornmeal by her Aunt Sue and a Brer Rabbit book. Ali's? An electric scooter and a laptop. They were different. Jill had exclaimed, "Thank you!" but you could tell she was thinking she'd get a typewriter. "Oh, Shell," her dad said. "The typewriters were much too expensive. Thirty-two dollars!" Jill loved to write. That was one thing Ali and Jill had in common. Jill's father said, "I'll go buy an apple pie, darling. Be right back. Does anyone have a dollar?" Aunt Sue handed Jill's father (Robert) fifty cents. "It's fifty cents, Robert dear," Aunt Sue said. "Go run along." Robert left and Jill's mother said, "Edmund, time for your present." Dear Charlotte, I LOVE to write. I have so many ideas that I never finish a story because I start working on a new one. Do you have any tips on continuing a story through and through? Sometimes when I get stuck on a story, I like to set it aside for a little while, and then come back to it after a couple of weeks. Usually, something will happen in that time that will inspire me to add on to it. Also, sometimes I'll find that part of one story I've written will fit well with another one!

Try talking to your friend when you two are alone sometime. Let her know how you feel. Maybe you can try to find something that all three of you can do together; once the other girl gets a chance to know you better, you may become friends too!

One of the best tips for a writer is, "Write about what you know." Look around you for inspiration; chances are, some normal and everyday things can become inspiring! And be sure to visit the Writing Club in the Tower Clubs section -- you're sure to get some creative ideas there as well!

It's really tough sometimes to leave your friends behind, but you can still keep in touch with letters and email (like I do with my Parisian friend Sophie). But you can also make great new friends wherever you go -- if my Dad and I hadn't moved to Brookline, I never would have met the BSG!

Writer's block can be so totally frustrating sometimes! When that happens to me, I like to take a break and do something fun, just to relax and clear my head. I usually find that pretty soon, I'll find some inspiration from something right in front of me! Good luck with your story!

Hey Char I just started the BSG books and I luv them! They r the best. I luv Australia and am sooooooo jealous that u got 2 live there. Right now I am having trouble w/ my friends at school. Hey Char. I resently heard in one of the books, your a little prince book fan! LOL! guess what! I loove the book! It has such a powerful strong message! One of my favorite characters is the flower! My mom says, everytime you read the book It means a different thing to you! Im going to my third time! Now I know what my teachers say when they say, you make a connection to a book. Cause I totally made a connection to BSG books! Its amazing! You guys have so much things I can relate and connect to! -A super fan of BSG, mimiandjo!
