Secret Crushes

Dear Journal,

We were having a Tower sleepover the other night when Maeve brought up the one subject that always makes me feel tingly all the way down to my toes: Nick Montoya—aka, my super-secret sorta crush. I know I must have turned 50 different shades of red. I mean, it can be fun to talk about Nick with the BSG, but it can also be SOOOO embarrassing! And you won’t believe what Maeve was saying. She actually thinks I should…get ready for this…ASK HIM OUT!

Of course my first reaction was no no no no NO! No way am I ready for that. And then, when I thought about it some more, my reaction was still NO. Hanging out with Nick is so much fun, and I definitely don’t want things to get weird. We always have an awesome time just kicking a soccer ball around or even working on a school project together! I’m afraid that if I bring up the whole ‘I like you’ issue, things will get messed up.

And you know what? I’m totally OK with feeling like that. I think it’s cool that Maeve would be brave enough to just walk up to her crush and ask him out, but that’s sooo not me. I just want to take it slow and see what happens naturally. For now, the only crush I want to hear about is the one between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice!

	Yeah. A secrets a secret. If you want some thing to remain private then keep it private. You can occasionally talk about it. But if you see things are heating up tell him how you feel about him. Chances are he likes you too. Or if you see a definite chance in a change in your location tell him. It might be your last chance!!

Yah, that's perfectly fine and by telling everything changes between you and your risking your friendship. I think you shuld wit for him to make the first move if their is one. Just hang out, and build a tight friendship. Help each other out and prove to the world guys and girls can just be friends instead of everyone wanting more. If it were me i would not tell him. I had a crush on this guy and still do but i don't tell anyone. I just act normal and be me. This guy he's so funny many time i end up sitting or standing , or doing any thing next to him. Yeah so there's this girl she told everyone that she liked my crush and now he's afraid to be next to her because she's annoying and her jokes AREN'T funny.
So anyway you get the point DON'T TELL him, maybe he might suspect you were doing stuff with him for another puporse but you weren't.

He knows me and we used to hang out a lot but now we're in totally different classes and he only talks to me from time to time. Keeping a secret crush can give you a very hard time. it's okay if you think you should keep it a secret. have maeve or avery or katani or isabel to ask him if he likes you. if yes, then just ask the hang together, and don't make it a "datey" thing. if you wanna go on a date, bring a group of friends. double/triple dates are always so fun. if you wanna keep it secret and wait for him, then do that! whatever you think is right is def best. hope this helps!

Then a boy who's in sevnth grade punched the guy in the nose and saved me! Then he asked me if i was ok. I said yah and we talked! The next day he called and asked me on a date!
