Hey! Thanks for your responses to FAM-tastic celebration of Family Fun Month! There are so many fun things to do with your family, and you pointed out some of the best! Read on to see some of the top family fun tips! TTYL, Katani ******** I love my family...they are very special to me. My mom and I love to bake goodies. Such as brownies, cakes, cupcakes, and cookies! Yum! My dad and I love to play golf together. He is better than me, but he always gives me good advice! Together, we love to go on vacation to different places. We like to swim in the hotel pools, and we all like to read and play games together! I love those activities that we do together and I hope they never fade away! ******** What my family does for fun together is put on some Spanish music and dance. When we do that, we have a blast. We dance together and alone. ******** Kgirl, my family goes boating all on the Chesapeake Bay. It is very fun. I wish you could see how much fun it is. We have a 44 Sundancer. It is huge and we can sleep in it. It has a blue streak across the bottom. It is so pretty. We just got a yellow and blue water trampoline. It is awesome. We go to Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, which has a really cool water park and all other cool places. It is so much fun seeing all the beautiful places on the boat. ******** For fun, my family and I make sushi. We make a whole night out of it. At first, we were really bad at rolling and cutting the sushi, but now we do it so much we're pretty good at it. It tastes really good too. It's a great way to spend time with your family. ******** Hey Katani, this summer, my family and I have done a lot. We've traveled to places and have just hung out. I have a brother, a sister, a mom, and a dad. One thing we really enjoy is hanging out by the pool and having a good time whether it is just talking about things or swimming around. We also have this tradition. We go to our grandparents’ house in Connecticut and get together with the rest of my family, including cousins, aunts, etc... ******** My family and I live in Arizona, and there are a lot of mountains here. We drive up the mountains and videotape every stop. Then sometimes we go to Summer Haven at the top of Mount Lemmon. The last time, we went to the ski valley and rode up the ski lift. It was a lot of fun. But when we can't drive up the mountains, we sometimes play Scene It DVD games or watch a movie. ******** My family likes to play a board game every Friday! We take turns picking which game to play! ******** Dear Katani, my family goes up to the cabin. We ski, swim, play games, and do everything fun you can possibly imagine! ******** My family and I always have a great time together. My brother and I are best friends and are always doing stuff together. My family always supports me, and they come to my performances and auditions. My brother and I like to sing and dance together. We are staring a band. I love volunteering with my aunts and cousins too. It is a great way for us to spend time together. I love spending time or eating with my family! ******** My family's favorite thing to do in the summer is to go to the beach for a week. An early morning walk on the beach, a day in the waves, and rides at the local amusement park, and we all had a blast. We all especially like it when our cousins come with us because that means that we might go to the water park, which makes our day even better. Mainly, we just have the best time as long as we're together doing something we all love. ******** Hey Katani, the best times I have are when my family goes camping, food, campfires, games, swimming... it's soooo much fun! We all just kick back and forget about work and all things hectic. Everyone should try it! ******** Hiya, for a family fun day, my family took me and my twin sister and my older sister to New York. It was great fun. we went on a boat to the Statue of Liberty and climbed it. After that, we went shopping. Then, we went to the Empire State Building and elevated to the top. It was fun. ******** My family and I are busy this summer. In June, we had the most fun. We were going to movies every week, we were swimming, we had to celebrate so many events. July with my family was for traveling. We were going to many places in my country. Also, August was fun. I went to a sleepover at my BFF's house. We watched Aladdin (you should watch it, it's sooo cool – funny) and Chicken Little, I made cookies (in case they are very yummy). So, you see, busy as I can be. ******** Every week my family bonds together by doing different and exciting things!! Such as: *We play board games until we are sooo tired it hurts to play anymore :) *We watch home made movies from a LONG time ago. *We eat out at our favorite restaurant. Yummy!! *We go shopping to just look around and talk together. *We share our memories and laugh really hard that it pains to do it again. ******** My family and I had a great time going to Fort Walton, Florida, and seeing the dolphin and sea lion show at the gulfarium. They had sharks and stingrays too. Everyone had a lot of fun watching the dolphins jump through hoops and do flips. It was awesome. We got Icees after a hot day. ******** Dear Katani, What my family does to have fun during the summer is... we play flag football, baseball, soccer, we watch movies, we also play basketball. We go fishing, we go on vacations, ride on amusement park rides together, we go to KU football games, Royals games, picnics too! We visit relatives and grandparents, and so much more! We also go swimming together too! We also go shopping, go to church, and go camping!!!! It is so much fun! I LOVE MY FAMILY AND I LOVE FAMILY TIME TOGETHER TOO!! ******** Hi Kgirl! My family is always on the go, so we usually don't have enough time to spend quality family time together. Both of my parents are working so we don't often get to eat dinner together. But sometimes we do have time to do stuff together. So we play board games and watch movies at home. Have you heard of the game Speed? We really love playing this card game. We also play board games like Monopoly, Cranium, and Life. Sometimes my mom takes me and my brother to the movie theater. Sometimes my family eats out together, too. But otherwise we just stay at home. Even though our life is busy and restless, we manage to fit some time in for family time. |
