What I'm Thankful For

I’ve only celebrated a couple of Thanksgivings, since most of my life has been spent outside the United States. So, I’m really excited for the holidays this year—not only because of delicious food (that’s definitely part of it, though!), but also because I have so much to be thankful for.

I’m grateful to have such a wonderful family, my dad and Marty, and also my second family—my best friends, Katani, Maeve, Avery, and Isabel! I’m thankful for Miss Pierce and all she does for me, my family, and the BSG.

I feel so lucky to live in my beautiful house in Brookline with the Tower and the telescope that looks out at the stars! Finally, I’m grateful for all my friends all over the world—including you!

I am thankful for food, clean clothes and sheets, a roof over my head and for both of my parents. I am also gald to have an education. I feel so sorry for the poor kids in Africa and I have participated in a wonderful fundraising program called World Vision's Forty Hour Famine. I was too young to famine, so I went for forty hours with no furniture. It was kinda hard, but I raised over $100!! I have done it twice.

I know that its not thanksgiving anymore, but im thankful for everything. even the people who hurt me; becuase, inside there is some good in everything. Even those scary spinders or weird teachers. What I'm really trying to say is, be thankful. Some people out there cant enjoy things like our computers or books right now.
