Quick & Easy Recipes

Hola, chicas!

One of my favorite hobbies is to try out my sister Elena Maria’s latest recipes. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be a professional taste tester?! Both Elena and Avery’s brother Scott want to be chefs when they’re older. They’re always making tasty treats and planning their future restaurants.

My favorite recipies are the ones my Mama makes that have been passed down through the generations in our family.

*There's more table talk going on in our Cookin' Club. Join the convo!*

you tell us ...
What are some special dishes in your family? Share them with me --don't forget to include ingredients and instructions. Yum!

Adios,

The special food in my family would have to be perogis! They are really good but they are hard to make. They taste great with sour cream and the ones filled with apples or other fruits taste great with whipped cream. They are fried dough (which are fried in onions) and filled with different cheeses and meat or spinach. It matters on what you like! smilies/tongue.gif
My favorite is potato and chedder! smilies/smiley.gif

VINIGER PIE

1. pumkine pie mix
2.pie crust
3.2 viniger

this pie is soooo easy to make all you have to do is make a regular pumkine pie but add 2 cups of viniger or 1 cup of viniger (if its your first time!) then when its done baking (all you have to do is read the directions on the pie mix thing how to bake it and stuff but you just add viniger though)you add and sprinkle of cinnimon on top and a little bit of whip cream on top but befor you do those 2 things wait at least for a half hour to let cool but when your done grab a peice and enjoy!

This is a recipe for really good cake. I call it strawberry lovers cake. First, you make a strawberry cake mix, and pour it into a 9x13 inch pan. bake according to box, and when it comes out, poke holes in it and pour in strawberry jello that has not hardened yet. Spread strawberry cool whip on top, and pour strawberry sauce on top. Enjoy!

I make really good parfaits! They're good for breakfast. Get your favorite fruit (slice it if it's a banana), cereal (I like Rice Crispies), and yogurt. Scoop some yogurt into the cup (but not too much). Then, add the fruit. Sprinkle some cereal. Then, add a teaspoon of yogurt to top it off.

This is amazing! Just put a glob of COLD cool whip, and a glob of peunut butter in a small bowl. Mix, and voila! It may sound gross, but it is amzing! And you don't even have to use specific measurements! So maybe I don't have a name for it, but it is really delish! You can even add toppings, such as whipped cream, or...... I have no idea! LOL! Tell me if you like it!

Well, I figured out a way to theme parties with food!!! if you are going swimming at the party (lucky them) basically use a cake, but frost it with vanilla icing with blue food coloring. Then, you can add a little figure on top so it looks like it is swimming!!!
