Me and friend have been BFFLs since grade two.  We started jumping rope together at recess and doing hopscotch.  Ever since we have been BFFLs.

But the sad thing is that I was in her class in grd 2 and so was my other friend (lets call her s) In grd 3 I wasn't in her class but she was in the same class as S.  In grade four I was with her and S and my friend H (let's call her that)  then in grade five all of my four friends (which I find COMPLETETLY unfair) were iin the same and I was left with one friend (one the plus side I made 7 new friends in that grade).  In grade 6 I am with my now BFFL M (let's call her that) and a few other friends (including H) and once again my BFFL is with S.

We met at a friends house and just starting hanging out.

Ask your friends for their new adresses or their email addresses. That way you can keep in touch. Also try to talk to more people and see if you cant make new friends while keeping your best friends and old friends close.

Try to start with talking to them. then after you start holding conversations then maybe you could try seeing if you can tell her a secret but just try not to make it to secrety. just incase something slips you dont want anything personal floating around the school like a thousand bubbles. After you decide that your friend can hold secrets than try to see if you cant find all your similarities. there may be a few differences and that is a good thing because friendships that have 2 many similarities probably wont last very long. Try this advice first than tell me how it works for you and I will try to send you more friend making tips. Just remember... Secrets don't make friends, friends make secrets.

 meeting a BFF is not something that happens every day. I met my BFF in Kindergarten. She is a hispanic person it started out with me begging her to teach me spanish.  After a while we just started talking and I found out that she just moved to town. Well I also found out that she lived only two miles away from my house. I am now a Sophomore in High school and she has been with me through everything; my first kiss, broken hearts, and much, much more. We are still friends and we have been friends now for 11 years and we will stay Best Friends for Life!! I am happy with her being my best friend. :)

You can be really warm to them, welcoming and not snotty. I didn't say you were, but some people I know get really...show-offy near new kids. Try to be yourself. Don't talk to much too. When I transferred, well, a person (a boy) who was quite low on the popularity scale started talking to me nonstop, not even keeping quiet during math class! (One of toughest classes.) He always brags, like, "That's so easy!" and "Oh-oh, I can do that." It was really annoying, and it still is!

i want to make new friends this year but every time i talk to them the "Popular ppl" 'steals' the new kid and i dunno what to do!! oh plz help! i really really want to stick with the new friend that i will make 2morrow(hopefully thr is going to b a few new kids...) so yeah any advice? well can't wait to hear from u!

 We went to the same preschool. Every morning when my mom dropped me off at preschool, I would cry because I didn't want my mom to leave. My bffl would come over and ask me if I was ok. Our mom's met, and then we had playdates after school some days. After preschool, we luckily ended up going to the same elementary school. She transfered when we were about to go into middle school, but we have kept in touch. We hang out every weekend! Another girl from my preschool goes to the same middle school my bffl does, so now I can keep in touch with her too. I have known my bffl for seven years, and I am so happy she is my bffl!

If you read my comment under "New Girls Unite"  that's always a good way.  Look out for those ladies with the chickens!

 I stink at making friends! And I need advice on how to aproch a guy, so I can say sorry! I think he liked me and then I hurt his feelings and wont talk to me! I see him staring at me all the time help!

One Time I met my bestest friend ever when I switched school, every saterday we would go to eachothers house for lunch, we were like simese twins (or how ever you  spell it) even though I am already a twin we were like triplits. One day when we were over whith school I was in new York,

                       She never told me, but she moved, TO ISRAEL how was I ever going to visit her, she told me she was going to come back in 2 years, at first It was o.k cause we had a journal she got, we sent it back and fourth back and fourth,       One day we lost the book, so know we had nothing to do, One day she sent me and my twin a buetiful letter she told me her e-mail, so i dint hav an e-mail cause i was in 3rd grade, so when i got an e-mail I e-mailed her right away but she didnt have the same e-mail, so know before sleep away camp started i got an e-mail from her I was soooooo happy.            But 5 years passed since she moved away i've made new best friends but in my heart she is still my best friend.

 well belive it or not i don't remember how i met my bff but i do remember that i was always nice and kind to her and after a while we started to have sleepovers

well my 1st BFF i met in grade one but now were not BFF any more we've been BFF since 7th grade ( and now i'm in 9th grade)

the 2nd BFF i met when i first moved to my new house (also in 1st grade) and she was like "Hi my name is E*** and this is my little brother A***" and i'm like " Hi my name is A***" and after that we hang out at each other's house and told each other EVERYTHING. and we lived across the street from eachother but she moved when she was in 4th grade and when i was in 7thgrade but now we don't talk no more :-(

the 3rd BFF we met at dance class and were still BFF we've been BFF's since 2005.

so yeah here are my BFF's that i met and #3 were still BFF.

 When I was in kindergarden, she offered me one of her whipped cream cupcakes. It was a scrumptious plain cupcake with whipped cream on top: just how she liked it. When she offered me one, I simply replied,"No thank you! I don't like whipped cream that much!" All she could do was laugh! After a while, that was the same thing I started to do!

So really, the easy way to make friends is to TALK!!!!!!Talking will get you so much further with friends once you actually think about it! Just say the right think and at the right time! (No talking in a classroom!)

 Now I'm in 6th grade! I still have those friends close by me, but I'm learning how to make friends the easy way! Like just the other day! I have a girl in my 6th period class. Her older sister was helping her younger brother sell items for his fundraiser. When they arrived at our house, she asked my Mom if they were interested in buying an item for his fudraiser! After she had answered, her older sister saw me. She asked if she knew her younger sister and I said answered yes! Turns out, she lives in one of the houses behind mine! Now, she and I have are more in touch than we were on the first week of school.
