Okay, so why is it that I talk up a storm with Charlotte, Isabel, Avery, and Maeve, but when it comes to talking to boys… I feel like I have nothing to say! Ok so i was best friends with six guys for six years so heres a tip, never talk about the O.C. with a guy unless their really cool like my friend. And dont pretend to be someone your not. HAY CHICAS!! I have a BIIIIIIIIIIIG prob. Last year(my first year of middle school) I became best friends(I mean,BEST friends) with this guy. We hung out like, ALL the time. Well, over the summer, I guess, puberty ended or something, cause I got out of my "okward phase" and when he saw me on the first day of school, he told me i became "cute" over the summer which was kinda weird. No you are definteley not alone, I fell the same what about a guy I like too, what I'm thinking of trying is to get me and my friends to sit with his friends at lunch and try to sit across from him so you can have a one on one conversation with him, and even if theres an awkward silence (gotta hate those monents!) it won't matter because all of the chatter will suck up most of the weird silences.

Well, I don't think you should come right out and tell him you like him. I mean, that's a pretty serious confession, and he might get scared away! Try chatting with him about something casual when you see him in the hallway, or after school.
Before going to talk to him, take a deep breath and count to ten. Then walk twords him with cool confident strides. Pause to say hi to a few friends. It will definetly calm your nerves more. When you approaach him. start with a casual "hey". if he's with friends, stuff your hands in your back pockets (the pockets of your hoodie) and start with a "hey guys whats up?" you come in totally calm cool and collected. Plus seeming cool around his guy friends will make you look more confident. Good Luck!

I learned (the hard way) that you should really like and trust a guy that is nice and funny and is easy to talk to. Try learning more about him and talk about stuff he likes. Take it easy and dont talk the whole time. (unless your lucky and get a guy that loves to listen but usually that doesn't happen) let him talk to.

And, it depends on the boy. Maybe test the waters a little by talking to one of his friends. Dillon once told me that a lot of boys don't talk about crushes like girls do (ummm, what?), but his friend might be able to clue you in on whether telling him is worth risking your friendship.
