There's more to Broadway than just musicals, you know!! Lots of great classic plays have been produced there too! So if you just want to act, there's a place for you, too!!

Auditions can make me super nervous, too!! First, I always remember to take long, deep breaths - that helps me to relax and focus. And smile! If you can put yourself into a good mood and make yourself feel confident, that will come through in your performance!!

I know how super hard it can be when friends disagree about something -- it can get so emotional sometimes!! Instead of focusing on things you don't agree on, try to find something that you all have in common (a favorite singer, movie, book, whatever), and talk about that instead!

It's okay to make mistakes -- I know I've made my share of them!! ;-) It's only a problem if you let it become one -- if you learn to laugh it off, it'll give you a whole new sunny attitude!! So if you love singing and acting as much as I do, then go for it, and don't let anything hold you back!
Hi Maeve. Ummmmm... listen. My friend was calling this guy a girl. My other friend said thats not nice. So then friend 1 told on the boy for bothering her, but really, he was just asking to stop. So friend2 told the bus driver and friend1 got really mad! So now friend1 is being really mean and at recess, she made the fight worse by going on and poking friend2. Friend2 is really tough, but she isn't trying to hurt anybody. She is saying please stop and is being nice, but friend1 is saying 'why are you acting like nothing is wrong? Something is worng!' And friend 1 has a friend named L*** and L*** is one friend1's side. There is also another girl named C*** and she is really nice, but she doesn't know whos side to go on, so she goes on friend1's side and and starts calling friend2 really mean names and makes mean faces. friend1 said friend2's story isn't true and that made friend2 feel really bad. She has been going to the guidence counselor and telling her what has been happening, but we don't know what to do. Can you help us?

AshleyRox12, well... i am maeve clone. so, i'll answer that! Ask your friend to ask if he really likes her. But, she won't ask.. you will! If her crush says no, be honest. Tell her. And also, stand up for her. Tell the mean girl to stop doding it. If this doesn't help, tell an adult.... a trusted one, like a parent or teacher. Hope this helps you!

I know it can be really hard at first, but sometimes I like to think about it this way. When I was learning to ride a bike, I was so totally scared to take off my training wheels, because I thought I would fall off and hurt myself. But the more I rode, the better I got at it. Sometimes it takes a little time to get good at something, so stick with it if it's something you really love to do!!

So the Kids Theater group is putting on a play, and I wanted to try out, but my mom wouldn't let me.Not until the end of summer could I try out for a play(for various reasons.) But, it's two weeks, and my friend told me she'll totally do both weeks if I do, so I called my friend and told her I'm good to go, and my mom sent my application the next morning. But, I got on the bus, then, like, halfway to school, my friend told me her cousins were coming for one of the weeks! She PROMISED she'd do it, but she said that, and I wanted to be with her SO much!
