I know Char would love this movie because mostly it's shot in Paris, the librarian is a word nerd in the begginging, and because she loves books. Pick a time when you can talk to them calmly and honestly. Tell them how much you would like to try acting. Suggest to them that you'd start with something on a smaller scale, like a school play or a local community theater. Once your parents see how much you enjoy performing, I think they will help you and give you lots of support!!
