Thanks for taking the time to answer our reader questions! Okay, so this question is from KARREN21: “I've really always wanted to know what makes you guys so strong that you guys never have a fight between each other?” Nick: It really comes down to being raised in a good home where our parents taught us respect for the people around you. So, we’ve always grown up with that rule, and it really has helped us as a group and as brothers. Kevin: I think it’s always been like that. Growing up, all of our lives, we’ve had a great connection like that. But, working together constantly and doing what we love has definitely helped. It’s amazing. Club BSG: Totally! Our next question is from CORBINBLEU (ha! not the REAL Corbin Bleu -- just a username!): “What’s your favorite part about being famous?” Nick: I think it’s cool to see our fans at the shows singing all the words. It’s so cool, sometimes our fans come out really early in the morning and stay out really late just to see us. So, they’re the best. I think it’s a major part. We also get to travel everywhere, and that’s pretty cool. Kevin: We really enjoy every minute of it. But, a hard part is having late nights and early mornings sometimes. But, really, that’s about it. It’s worth every single minute of it. Club BSG: How have your personalities changed? Joe: I think it definitely makes you more outgoing. We were kind of outgoing guys from the start, and we just like to have fun. I think doing this really helps us be who we are on stage. It’s cool when you’re hearing your music and your songs, and people come out to see it. It’s really cool, definitely. Club BSG: Great! This question is from DANCERGRL101: “Do you guys ever play pranks on each other?” Nick: We don’t really play too many pranks on each other, but we have played a couple pranks to our band and some of the bands that we play with on tour. One of the things I did was— well, our guitar player’s bunk was full of all this stuff, so I rearranged it all and put all these pop star magazines and pictures up in his bunk. He wasn’t too happy about that, but it was pretty funny. Kevin: Yeah, and the next day, Nick rearranged everything again, and since our guitar player is a huge Red Sox fan, Nick got everything out of there and put in all Yankees stuff. Club BSG: Oh, man. Guys—that’s the WORST thing you can do to a Red Sox fan. Kevin: Exactly. That’s why it was awesome! Club BSG: Hey, CAT1090 wants to know, are you guys are Yankees fans, coming from New Jersey and all? Kevin: Oh, of course. Club BSG: You know, the BSG headquarters is located near Boston…aka, Red Sox Nation… Joe: Uh-oh. [laughs] Nick: Yeah, you might not want to mention that. [laughs] Club BSG: Hey, Yankee fans are awesome, too! lol! Okay, so this question comes from SNOSURFER615: “If you could have lunch with anyone past or present, who would it be?” Nick: Elvis Costello. Kevin: Prince. Joe: I’d pick John Lennon. Club BSG: Awesome picks! Any particular reasons why? Joe: Probably because John Lennon is one of the most famous people ever to live. I love his music, and he’s such an inspiration. To meet him would probably just freak me out. Kevin: Yeah, that goes for me as well. Prince is just a musical inspiration for us and he’s had such a long career. It’s so amazing. Or, I’d pick Johnny Cash. That would be really cool, too. Club BSG: Our next question was submitted by MIMI2929: “If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?” Joe: I’d say Europe, actually, because we’ve never been there. But, we’re going to Europe in about a week and a half, so we’re really pumped. Club BSG: What about personally—where have you ALWAYS wanted to visit? Joe: I’d say Fiji or something. Kevin: Italy. Club BSG: Here’s a question from MISS_MUSIC: “Who is When You Look Me in the Eyes written for?” Nick: When You Look Me in the Eyes was actually on my original solo project, and it really wasn’t written about anyone in particular. I think everyone has that person who they kind of feel that way about. And, when we wrote it, it wasn’t about anyone specific—just a song we wanted to write. And, fans really love it, so it’s cool to play every night. Club BSG: Okay, we’ve all heard about dressing room divas, so ICANSING2 wants to know: “Do you have any special requests in your dressing room?” Kevin: Just sparkling water for me. That’s all I really ask for. Joe: Of course, Beacon Street Girls books! [laughs] Club BSG: Helloooo?! Obviously—BSG books rock! After you’ve been running (and flipping, Nick) around on stage every night, what’s your favorite way to unwind after a concert? Joe: FOOD. Kevin: Eat food… Joe: And go to sleep, usually, or watch movies. Sometimes, we go out to dinner after concerts near the hotel. Usually, after a concert, your energy is so high that you just want to talk about the show and hang out. We play video games or board games, too. Kevin: Yeah, you just want to be able to hang out with the people you just had a great moment with. So, whatever it is, it’s a lot of fun. Club BSG: Sounds like fun! So, what can you tell us about Camp Rock and your new album that we’re all dying to get? Joe: We’ve got upcoming projects that we’re really excited about. Camp Rock is coming out in June, which is really exciting. Our next album is coming out in August. Camp Rock was great. We had a great time, the cast was amazing, and being up in Canada was really cool—we enjoyed it. We just can’t wait for everyone to see it. Kevin: Of course, we’re going on our new Burning Up Tour this summer. Tickets go on sale March 29th, so that’s pretty awesome. We’re really pumped about everything. Club BSG: Kevin, WE’RE really pumped about everything, too! You guys rock, and it was awesome hanging out with you. Thanks for answering our reader questions! Kevin: Thank YOU.
