Some of us want attention from boys ... others don’t. Either way, getting attention from boys doesn’t have to be to see if they like you or not. Some boys are actually pretty cool just as friends.
But, exactly HOW do you get either kind of attention from boys? Well, let me share three things I’ve learned so far from having a brother, boy neighbors, and like 1,000 crushes.
Get positive attention: Positive attention from boys is actually a BONUS for doing the things that make YOU happy. Like, being the first in your school to score five goals in one game, or getting the highest grade on a math test—boys notice that. Achieving one of YOUR goals is the kind of thing that makes boys think, “Wow, she’s pretty cool.”
Avoid negative attention: Negative attention usually comes from doing things that are, quite simply, NOT you. Being known for wearing the shortest skirts or the highest heels doesn’t necessarily get you the kind of attention you want from boys. And if it does, those probably aren’t the boys who are interested in you as a person—and being liked for who you are inside, I think, is WAY more important.
Play it cool: Confession: I get all giggly and flustered around boys like Dillon sometimes, but being all flirty and intense can freak guys out a little. Casually talking to your crush about class or his soccer team will show him how cool and friendly you are. Then, if you’re too scared to let him know how you REALLY feel, you can have fun being friends and see where it takes you down the road.

KEEP COOL! He does it because he knows it bothers you. When he says poke,poke (which #1 is SO immature, and #2 MAYBE he likes you.) don't say anything. Or just aviode him(if you can).
I always giggle. They think I'm laghing at them. How do I say" I'm not laghing at you,I'm just nervous anround cute guys" with out saying exactly that? lol

well i HAD a crush on this boy! And at first He was soo nice and quiet (just like me). and i ALWAYS tried to get his attention! It kinda worked but then i said to myself " This is not the true me, i need to be myself and do my own thing" So If i was being myself i had to stop liking him! It was hard...but i made it through and today im doing REALLY good! LOL! My friend gave me the best advice...because she had the SAME situation! So wher is he today? IDK! But atleast im over him! Well I like this one boy but my friend already told him! He said he didnt like me at all and will never go out with me.... turns out the friend that told him was his girlfriend, she took it totally fine though... but now its their second time they broke up and he kinda started acting nice and funnier than he was to me. He also acts nice to his ex. Maybe as if he thought he wanted to get back together. When I asked him if he would ever get back with her he said never ever ever!! Do you think he likes me and his ex at the same time or what? I'm confused!!

Just wait till after school to ask your teacher .
If your still afraid, ask your mom, dad, sis, or bro witch ever is better at what 'eva.
but if its class work ask you teacher privetly like at his desk.If your still scared say it in a whisper to him or her .
anyone of his desk's mine has two i use the one thats closer to the door or jus the one he is at i feel better.Take it from some one that knows.
You will feel less scared .

Hey to all u soon to be 7ys its easy if u got friends! dont got friends? well then make new ones! it really is easy but if no1 comes up to u its probably just because they r nervous and scaredjust like the rest of the 7th grade! when i started middle school i actually went to a high school too! it was sooooooo scary because i had seniors in my french class and on top of that all of my old friends went to a different school!!! but then i met new people and it was fun, except very hard because my school had like the 3rd best ACT scores in the country...so ya it gets easier!
