Hi girls!
You know, sometimes I wish I were in the movies. Well, actually, I wish that ALL the time! But, I find myself especially jealous of those girls in Hollywoodland who get PUSHED together with a cute boy by outside forces. Like, Gabriella and Troy when they sang Karaoke. It ALWAYS works out that the boy ends up liking the girl and the girl ends up liking the guy, and everyone’s happy.
But, what if you and your crush AREN’T pushed together… ever? Like, you’re not in the same class, you don’t have the same friends, and you feel like you’re just meant to stare at him from afar… oh, so romantic!
Romantic, but frustrating. So, how DO you get to know your crush when it seems like the forces of nature are keeping you APART? Read on for my secrets.
Use your resources. If your crush is in your friend’s class (lucky!), talk to her about casually dropping your name in here and there. Like, “Hey, that was a great story you read today in class. My friend Charlotte is a really good writer, too.” Or, if he plays on your brother’s soccer team, go to the games and say “hi” or “good game”—not too hard, right?
Focus on his strengths. If you are talking to your crush casually from time to time and need another excuse to talk to him, think about his strengths and what he’s into. Like, if he’s really into music, you could ask him to recommend which Rolling Stones CD is the best to get for your dad or something. Also, everyone likes to talk about stuff that they’re good at. Bring up a sport he likes or ask him a question about something he knows a LOT about. Chances are, he won’t give you a one-word answer!
Be BOLD. No, really, you gotta be bold sometimes when there are no forces of nature pushing you and your crush together. You have to make it happen for yourself! Yeah, you can have your BFF talk to his friend, but that route can take AGES for anything to happen. Sometimes, you just gotta go up to him, smile, and say “hi!” It shows confidence and friendliness—which are GREAT qualities to have. And, it’s not like you have to single him out, either. Say hey-what’s-up to all his friends, or challenge his group of guys to a soccer match against your group of girls. Sometimes things seem a lot easier when you have your girls behind you!
Crushing from afar might seem impossible, but there ARE ways to get to know your crush when you’re not already in the same group of friends, or neighbors, or picked to sing Karaoke together. Got an idea? Share the wealth!

Some of the ways i get to know my crush is well i go up to him every day and say hey what's up,and then i say what do you like doing best or what are you best at and me and my crush are really fast runners and we'll sometimes have a racing contest =D

well..... if ur having a get together, invite him. or if at lunch, if he sits at a diff. table, then go sit next to him and talk to him. sometimes u have to him how you feel about him but i understand that u dont kno if he likes u or not. so to tell if he likes u, if he stares at u, helikes u. if he stutters a lot around u, he likes u. and definitely, if he smiles at u a lot then he likes u. i've been through all these experiences and tips and it worked for me. how about u?

Don't talk to them as much at first. Talk to your friends and all who know him well. Get to know what he is like, without risking actually having to start a conversation with him. Once you know enough, go up and say hi. THATS when you start your conversation. The reason you find out about him first is so that when you hear something that is akward or you don't know much about, you will already know so have the time beforehand to find out more about it.

I seriously like this guy who's in my class. he is sooo nice and sweet and really smart and athletic too. He kinda flirts with me sometimes and i think he might like me. once like in my class we have "national hug day" on friday, and i was hugging my friend. Then the guy i liked was like, "what about me?!?" to me. But then at the same time i think he thinks im weird or dumb or something. What do i do? HELP!!!

Well, if he doesnt like you, just try to be good friends with him instead. Dont stop being friends with him, especially if he is really nice, or something.

Just go up and talk to him if need support always bring a friend who is close to you. Sometimes they like you too they just seem a little shocked that you like them to and try avoid you, so they don't have to face the truth. If I were you just talk to him, slow things down, and work it out between you two.

I have a crush, who i really like. But it really is a weird story, considering i used to hate the guy and we were the complete opposites. Until we were paired up for a class the whole year! and thats when we got to know each other better. I count him as my best friend but I like him a lot!!! and he just found out by my friend!!! me and him haven't spoken for a while now, so i am scared if he doesn't understand.
