Pet Talk: Doggie Names

Woof, pet fans:

What’s in a name? Everything. When you humans get your first or second or tenth pet, you should not just address the dog or cat or rabbit or turtle or hamster et cetera, et cetera by “Hey you!” or “Get over here!” How RUDE. Choosing a pet name should be a long, thoughtful process. No more Fifis or Fidos. It’s time to get creative, pet lovers. I should know. Being a pet with perhaps the best name EVER, I can’t help but suggest that you consider naming your new pet after me. (It works for a boy OR a girl!) But if you would like a little variety, here are my other favorite pet names:

Boys: Francis, Barky, George, Champ, Merlin, Eugene, Manny, Louie

Girls: Caroline, Marge, Rosie, Sheila, Aphrodite, Frances, Lucy, Mavis, Stella
