Secret Confessions

Secret Confessions—hmmm. A lot of my secret confessions have to do with EMBARASSING MOMENTS. Ever have one of those? Oh, we ALL have. Here’s a place for you to confess your most mortifying moments.

Anyone who has read Beacon Street Girls book #1 Worst Enemies/Best Friends knows what my ultimate humiliating moment is. I have had plenty (and I mean plenty) of first-day disasters, but this one takes the cake.

Here’s my embarrassing moment confession (found in Worst Enemies/Best Friends):

“As I hurried from the table, so did the tablecloth. In that moment it seemed as if time had stopped. Looking over my shoulder, I saw Avery ducking, Katani backing away, and Maeve not yet getting it. In the air between us hung a terrible, awesome constellation of trays, French toast sticks, dishes, salad, place cards, cups, cartons, milk, and utensils. The moment faded, and then, everything came crashing down.”

You might think the BSG would hold a grudge forever—but, believe it or not, we became good friends soon after that.
