We got the skinny on who Hilary looks to for inspiration when writing her cool, funky songs. Club BSG: hey Hilary! What kinds of musicans or bands do you love? Hilary: There are so many! I like Steely Dan, the Carpenters -- especially Karen Carpenter, Chicago, the Doobie Brothers, Alicia Keys, Joss Stone, Nora Jones, Pink, Keith Urban. I like Earth, Wind & Fire and also Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. I listen to some jazz, too, like Ella Fitzgerald. My parents listened to people like Carole King, so I grew up listening to people like her. Club BSG: Wow! That's quite a list! What has touring with Teddy Geiger been like so far this summer? Hilary: It's been really great touring with Teddy. We're all getting to know each other really well, and it's been fun. The fans have been amazing.
